  • Hey guys! Today’s video is really exciting and I had a lot of fun creating this one for you all 🙌🏻 Since I ran my first ever marathon this year, I wanted to dive into the biology of running 26.2 miles and talk about everything from carb loading to hyponatremia 💦 I hope you enjoy it and the respiration series will continue after this!

This video was amazing Holly! I'm going to be doing the Brighton marathon in April (first marathon after taking up running during lockdown!) - I've found your marathon/running content to be so motivating and helps me feel more confident about taking on such a long run. You explained everything so clearly and I just really appreciate you creating content like this so much!

Hi Holly! I’m a big fan of your videos and I always found them very handy to link together my biology knowledge. Can I have a small request, which is i think it’d be a good idea if you could make a small summary at the end of the video. I notice that you usually cover lots of bits of biology in every vid, and by the time you get to some of the final points I already forget some of the basics you’ve talked about at the beginning. I’d really appreciate it if you could do so. Im really thankful for you making these videos and plz keep up with the work!

Have you thought about learning about crossover of machine learning and biology (and maybe creating videos about it). There's for example fascinating application of Graph Neural Networks to drug discovery.

I like those biology videos. Everytime I see them, I watch them. It's admirable that you have worked hard to come at this level where you can explain it so clearly.
