    There is no manufacturing in Nigeria because electric power is expensive and unreliable. Until we solve Electric power issues. we will remain import bound

    What I've struggled to understand is why people don't go into these sectors with massive government support. E.g. wheat. We don't have to stop importing wheat all of a sudden but we can definitely reduce importation if the government decides to step into that sector. These things seem relatively easy to solve.

    • @NedMedia

      You're absolutely right Solomon, judging by the way people rushed into rice cultivation. Why is wheat not receiving the same attention? Thanks for your wonderful insights😊

    I always say, as long as Nigerian government can't provide steady electricity and keep funding waste in inefficiency in governance, devaluation is inevitable. Until local production is embraced, we are on a nose dive.

    Let it not be what I am thinking. I always fear westerners might decide to do some bad thing to that refinery like they did to the rest of our refinery. I needed to know more about this delay.

    This is the first NedMedia video that made me unhappy and downcast - the truth, they say, is always bitter. I hope we can make changes quickly.
    I'll greatly appreciate it if you can please shed some light on the rumours going around that Dangote is losing the refinery, and that the refinery might never even take off. Thanks.

    • @NedMedia
      @NedMedia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      😊😆 It isn't bad news John, there are many opportunities that exist even at the current FX. Dangote isn't losing the refinery they just have some delays. The refineries need to work to save naira from pressures, and of course we need to buy made in Naija 🇳🇬
