I agree! I'm loving your channel as you are digging into areas of Nigeria that are often overlooked. Keep up the good work of showing these and the best of Nigeria.
Thanks for the video. Very informative for me. My Nigirian friends don't talk much about these topics. I am forced to do my own research. I want to learn more about Nigiria because it's a great and beautiful African state with great recourses. In principle, Nigiria could develop into the strongest country in West Africa.
The British government looks the other way while billions of stolen money from abroad are laundered into their country. They should not call the kettle black.
This is the result of a GENERATION of vision less, corrupt leaders. We pray for the arising of patriotic leaders that have the courage, strategy and resilience to re take this country....Good informing video though...some of these stories MUST be told again to Nigerians of this generation so we can find a lasting solution for the sake of the next generation
It's unimaginable that the dredging of 12km of Imo River and lack of a small amount of capital led to the closure of ALSCON, and an eventual sale of the $3b company for peanuts. Till today no one went to jail for the losses the country suffered or for the lack of decision at the critical time. Also ALSCON was being managed by Germans...
The authorities have to elevate their mind and restore these projects to enable the youth to have easy assess to jobs as well as to help the economy growth. Nigerian government wake up

Nigeria the land of dreamers and mega corruption, these funds should have been invested in Education, health, improvements in existing infrastructure and services and agriculture,oh Nigeria I cry for you for lost 5 decades!!
😀😅🤣 It's funny! Actually they didn't have the money to finance the construction and their Turkish partner couldn't back the project either so their concession agreement was revoked.
A lot of questions and no answers. It is very true that Gov't should keep its hands off business and leave it to the private sector. See, telecoms, banking and cement are successfully managed in Nigeria.
The iron plant should never been put there. The iron ore locally is at 32%fe,economic at greater than50%fe.ghana ore is at 52% to 62%fe and needs hard coal without sulphur.nigerian coal has sulphur.Bring in steel billets and old railway irons, then make std rails plus gas pipes. The plant is all there!
If you accept a suggestion. If you're going to make a list, put the most interesting case last or separate it into different videos. The initial part was very informative, but I lost interest in watching the rest of the list, especially since the cases were not treated as carefully as the first.

The government shouldn't be trying to run businesses and let the private sector o the job.

"Whom did we offend" I cry for this nation! It's heartbreaking.
ALSCON is Nigeria's first export processing factory. ALSCON is one of the biggest Aluminun Plant in Africa.
No wonder Chinua Achebe said "There was a country"...may his soul rest in peace.
Nothing is more disheartening than an abandoned project
Ned, thank you No wonder British prime minister Cemeron said Nigerians are fantastically courupt
Every Government is corrupt
The British government looks the other way while billions of stolen money from abroad are laundered into their country. They should not call the kettle black.
Initiated by Britain
Nigeria will be great We just have to make it work.
Absolutely 💯

This is the result of people putting their interest before the country. If leaders are not patriotic, how will citizens be beholden to their country?
Ned, this is a brilliant presentation, thanks .
Thank you Sulaak😊
thanks for the video, very informative, as always
Thanks Kehinde😊
You're doing well NedMedia.
Thanks 😊
Great work!
Hopefully, Buhari will fix them
PDP was a disaster, despite enjoying the billions from Oil boom.
While Apc demon to the highest level PDP is Saint compared Apc
Shocked to hear Tinapa has stopped working, visited some years ago, it was an unforgettable experience… this is really sad😢
Present day hardship in Nigeria has been years in the making.
I agree. Governments that abandon projects without a justifiable reason should be made criminally liable.

Great Job NedMedia 👍🏾👍🏾👏🏾🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Anthony 😊 👍🏽
Fabulous work. Well done
Thanks 😊
9. So 19 Northern States of Nigeria could not manage one textile company?
THE COUNTRY SHOULD BE PRIVATIZED
In Nigeria the leaders are not only the problem. The citizen is another issue
Good job
Thanks 😊
Very sorry you didn't include The ogindigbe gas city project in Delta State worth about $30billion

Bro u too much👍
Is the government working on reviving these companies?
They are working on some while others have been sold, so they can't do much anymore☹

Incidentally to my misfortune, I worked in the first tow companies for a combined period of 12 wasted years.

I'm embarrassed as a southerner. Do we blame the north for this degree of corruption and negligence too? We need to look inwards and do better.
Nigeria the land of dreamers and mega corruption, these funds should have been invested in Education, health, improvements in existing infrastructure and services and agriculture,oh Nigeria I cry for you for lost 5 decades!!
This is what corruption, greed, nepotism, incompetence, selfishness and having round pegs in square holes looks like. But who did this to us?
Better build houses instead with the money.
And people.are looking for hobs
The fastest way to get jobs is rehabilitating these industries. Nigeria govt is utterly useless.
Lol. #6 contractor name: AWOL Group of Companies (absent without leave?)
Hshaaa so fitting a name
I had high hopes for Tinapa. So much wasted capital investment in this video.
AWOL Group abandoned an airport project?
😀😅🤣 It's funny! Actually they didn't have the money to finance the construction and their Turkish partner couldn't back the project either so their concession agreement was revoked.

Poor presentation. You really don't know anything in Nigeria.
