Dear Nick and family. Congratulations on your little boy. Sky is the perfect name for him. Keep on rocking the world in big sky country. Bless you guys.
Congratulations Nick and Kathleen on the birth of a new baby boy!!! Grandpa Bob is going to need bigger cabs on the tractors and combines to hold all the Grandkids and Coby!!!
My Boer goats would’ve cleared the ground around the bins to the dirt in 2-3 days. My neighbors borrowed them, fenced them in areas they couldn’t get a mower. They cleared the ground & left some free fertilizer. Our house & barn were built in the woods on 11.5 acres, only about 2 acres cleared UNTIL we built the barn (done the old fashioned Amish way) & got goats.
Congratulations! There is no feeling like the immense joy and responsibility that washes over you when a child is born. Fatherhood, the hardest job you'll ever love.
Congrats Nick and to your wonderful wife. Another beautiful child brought into the Welkers clan. I wish you quiet nights and lots of love in the house hold. I hope Colby is not jealous.🥰
Congrats on the new baby Nick. Beautiful and healthy and I know you and Kathleen are two proud parents. Take care and God bless each and every one of you!
Nick, @7:54 , better cut some 1/4” strips, (out of some old belting or something rubber) and put them between the hyd tank, and angle iron to truck frame. It will cause the tank to crack if you don’t. Please let me know if they are already in there, I couldn’t see them. 👍
We battle kochia in North Dakota. Put 2 oz of valor down this fall on all your ground except next year’s barley and canola. It takes a fall rain but does wonders. And it’s cheap
You and your better half are truly blessed! Praise the Lord. You gave him a name that fits a Montana boy for sure. Congradulations Welker family! Maybe the canola will be a fall blessing... couldn't hurt.
Great job mounting the new tank onto Big Brute. You guys are incredible. Nothing stops a Welker. Right? Lol. Those blasted weeds are fricking going crazy. Time to lock and load! Very glad to see you taking decisive action to reclaim your valuable land. Last but not least: the baby is beautiful. Very precious! “Let Freedom Ring” in America for our children. Thanks for sharing. (Unfortunately there are weeds growing in certain houses of higher education in America, and the weeds go to seeds in brain-washed students.) God bless and protect America. And “Let Freedom Ring” always in this great land.
Congrats to Kathleen and Nick, fantastic time for ALL the family. Love and best Wishes from A Melbourne 🇦🇺 Sorry for the delay just catching up on your channel ❤️
It depends on variety of canola , but usually if its ready to hardest, after 2-3 weeks or after heavy storm pods will open and all the seeds will end up on the ground. At least European varietys do that
Nick awesome fab job on the tank!!!! You couldn’t get a better fab job anywhere else!!! You guys did an amazing job on the new baby!!! Speaking of babies congratulations on the new addiction to the family!!!!
Congratulations on the New Baby. I miss my 3 being that little especially my little girl. She was born way way early and was a little over 3.5 Lbs. She's the middle Child so she has a older brother and a younger brother. She a Daddy's girl for sure even at 12 years old. Hope it stays that way.
Careful with that vent I had a setup like that Once it over flows and you shut off the pump the venturi affect keeps drawing liquid out of the tank but there's nothing going in Ended up sucking the tank in till I realised and opened the lid to let air in Cracked the top of the tank You need an air vent at the top as well as an overflow tube Good idea in theory but a disaster in waiting
Nick, your new baby is just the most precious little guy. My wife is an expert on babies and she swooned. I did notice a special aura around little Sky Welker, I believe The Force is strong with this one !!!
Congratulations on the New beautiful addition to the family what a Wonderful Beautiful Baby Boy Awesome that Mom and Baby are doing great. Now You have a really Nice Big Beautiful Family and everyone is healthy Thank God Enjoy your Amazing Awesome Beautiful Family... GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 🙏🙏🙏
Glad for you and your growin' family Nick....Sky'll be ridin' n those tractors, sprayers and combines with you, before you know it! Big Brute looks like a successful upgrade! Good luck chadin' those weeds out! Bless you and your family and Thank Ya'll for farmin' and feedin'!🤠🚜🚚🚛🌱🌽🌾🆒👍
Congratulations on baby #4 Nick and family!!! That air filter cleaner was awesome, my shop needs one of them for the trucks. Glad to see that God is providing for the Welkers.
Lots of hard work! (You and your wife!) Can you raise the boom perch? Booms wouldn't sit level, but unless you have to clear a bridge or low door it would work. Another option: rotate the perches back 30 degrees or so. You'd need to extend them a bit to get the side-side width back.
Congratulations Nick wife and baby look healthy is the main thing why do you have a great family enjoy your life with your kids they are more important than anything
Congratulations! Kids are blessings at any age and even more fun when they come out for rides with dad! Enjoy! We had our canola do that. We swathed it and baled it in round bales. Fed it to our cows. That crop was adjusted out by crop adjuster before we baled it.
Just South of you down here on the Palouse we pretty much had similar conditions and most of the canola got beat up from the hail storms as well but we don't see it as a big loss if we don't get to harvest it because of how well it helps replenish the soil that and clover.
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. First of all and most important, congratulations on the new baby. Welcome Sky Welker to the family and farmstead. Beautiful beautiful baby. Looks like a Welker for sure. I am happy for you and your wife and children. Wonderful family!!!!! I cannot believe how thick those weeds got. Glad you are spraying them dead. Just unbelievable!!!!!!! Lots of work but needs to be done. Amazing how fast they came on. Glad you got the big brute remodel done and ready to use. Wow. Sorry the harvest is not any better on the hail damaged crops. Hopefully better a little later when you try it. You are a busy person right now. Remodel on sprayer looks great , good job Nick. Say hi to the guys at the progress show. Once again, congratulations to you and your wife on the new baby. Very nice!!!!! Looking forward to the next video. You all take care and be safe. Thanks. The Iowa farm boy from years ago.
Watching your videos gave me a awesome idea. I don't have land or a farm but the things that I do as a retired military veteran is many unique solutions for ppl and their problems. Thank you very much 👍
Congratulations on your new son! The fields out there are so big, there’s not a tree in sight. Where I live in Western Kentucky you can’t see storms rolling in until they are fairly close. Where you live you can see them when they are many miles away. I’ve liked watching storms roll in since I was a little boy.
Glad to see the fams doin fine nick I love it but could you take the field full of kochia and make that crp and then plant it again in a couple years I mean I know it’s a big field out and that’s profit gone but in the long run it could potentially bring in more right
It amazes me how thick that kochia can grow. On our farm it mainly grows around the perimeters of the fields, I've never seen it overtake the entire field like that. Big Brute looks awesome with his new tank. I am always impressed with you guys fabricating skills and how you can put basically anything together from scratch. Keep up the good work!
Big Buds head banging, start by putting a warning on the step at eye height: Warning Head Hit Ahead! or Caution, Big Bump Area! Something like that to warn of the issue. Good luck with the rest of harvest. God bless! 👍👍
I have learned the makeup of soil determines what crop is best suited for a particular area of the United States. As a kid I thought a farmer could grow what ever they wanted. God bless the Walker farm family.
I followed your progress on the build..... great job guys... that's why I enjoy your channel... spent 40 yrs in the metal fabrication field for forty years,,,, you know how to make it work ...
Congratulations o the birth of your son and the rebirth of big brute!!! Your little baby boy looked healthy and sticky. Possible nick names for him. Baby brute! Little brute. Maybe!!! lol
Congratulation on that beautiful new baby. Love the name Sky. Such a awesome blessing.. Love the video, wow, so much your doing. Hope you get a great crop out of the canola.. Next year will be amazing on all your crops. Love learning about farming. On how it all works. Bless you and your family..
Big Brute 2.0 is perfect. I think the oil tank looks better on the side like that. Congrats on the new baby! Some plants go dormant during drought conditions. Like your lawn, all brown and crunchy. Rain comes and it starts growing again. Canola is probably that type of plant.
Could quickly bolt a Rubber Suspension Block from all the tear downs to the bottom of that boom support to save the noggin some knocks. We did the same thing for our Apache that was like yours, and me as the tall guy always knocked my head getting in.
y'all should put in a small tool box or storage on the other side of the brute to give it some symmetry to the hydraulic tank might have to redo some pluming though.
Love the new Brute! Perhaps put a hinge pivot on that boom support on the ladder side so you don’t crack your head when entering exiting the cab. Safety first! :)
or pad the underside somehow... maybe pad it and rig a hydro cylinder ( or air) so that when the arms fold in, the support swings out to carry the weight
Dear Nick and family. Congratulations on your little boy. Sky is the perfect name for him. Keep on rocking the world in big sky country. Bless you guys.
Congrats on the new baby BOY....God Bless him.....💜💯%👋👍👀
Congratulations Nick and Kathleen on the birth of a new baby boy!!! Grandpa Bob is going to need bigger cabs on the tractors and combines to hold all the Grandkids and Coby!!!

Awesome! Crop is not important…. Mom and Skye are the only thing that matters right now. Good job on the video! Captain Al from Tampa😎
Congratulations! There is no feeling like the immense joy and responsibility that washes over you when a child is born. Fatherhood, the hardest job you'll ever love.

Duct tape and bailing twine are a farmers best friend haha love it, it's fun watching you guys we do a lot of the same back here in Washington state
