We appreciate all the support and suggestions. I want to take a minute to give credit to the BIG BUD engineers for designing such strong frames throughout their tractor series. We could not fabricate one of these tractors from scratch. It takes years of experience and enormous metal working tools. Time will tell if our farmerized modifications to this BUD will be a success or a major fail. 😅
They sure did make these Big Bud's hefty, nothing made like it today. You guy's do some great fabrication, and your work has been good to go on past project's, so i see this going just fine, plus you have faith, and faith brings good guidance from He who dwells in us. I love watching you do these winter builds, and i love old iron built in the USA, being revived and used. I also love seeing you guy's work with your dad, he has raised some fine young men. G-d bless everyone.
I always go back to the Ontos, aka The Thing: That time US Marines and the farmers joined in Grunts and Crafts...and stuck 6 recoilless rifles on a medium tank with 6 M2s as "sighting guns". Well that or when John Deere up armored their tractors for WW2. The Fat Electrician did great videos on those.
Nothing to do with being smart, I worked with a farmer that was a Professor of agriculture on the University, Quit his job so he could milk 750 sheep, and couldn't get his company of the ground. When i joined, he farmed for 5 years and he never used a grease gun or even knew how to fill one. His machines were all in disrepair and out of service so he was feeding by hand. Its not so much about being smart, Its more by just doing it and learn from your mistakes. (Like those mistakes that can involve breaking your arm).
If I were to be honest, I don’t know how you don’t already have 1,000,000 subs. Y’all put in so much work in to what y’all do and I think that people just don’t care.
I don't believe people don't care, I think it's more the case that many viewers do so via their TVs, which I've found to be awkward & tedious to Like, Comment & Subscribe.😊
I am super excited for this build. I can’t wait for each video to come out. So much fun seeing unique content from you guys. Thanks for bringing us along!
I’m really enjoying this Bud rebuild. It’s great how you’re taking something that was considered junk and making it usable again. I especially like the idea that you can do your own repairs and not an authorized dealer like what those guys are dealing with their new John Deere equipment. This tractor will do all the functions and get the job done. And the best thing, no government juice. Looking forward to seeing it in operation this spring.
I love seeing that your videos are around 30 days old because that tells me there’s atleast another month’s worth of awesomeness that’s still waiting to be shared in a video.
I can remember sitting watching some of your older vids with my late father and he always said im happy to see people rebuilding and working old iron keeping history alive
This Big Bud project is going to be magnificent. Remember guys, not only are you saving an American classic, you're going to gain a very usable tractor & continuing the Welker Farm legacy. So cool! 😎
You guys never cease to amaze me at your expertise and ingenuity when modifying your equipment for your needs. Amazing! Thanks for taking us on the ride!!!!
I am totally in awe, not just of your can-do spirit, but of your ingenuity, pragmatism, design skills, and metalworking abilities! Wish my Pa - a lifelong, do-it-yourself type farmer - was alive to see your videos. Merry Christmas to you all, and Happy New Year!
Love your work guys, just remember its called a "Big Bud" for a reason, not a large Bud or a giant Bud. Your doing all the right stuff to make it look good at the end especially with those big tyres. Keep going I love it. Can;t wait to see the finished article. Just imagine how proud you will be when your showing it off at some event knowing - we did that!
I'm impressed with your guy's ambition on the metal working part of this tractor! We own a 525/50 and a 450/50 and know just how heavy and difficult some of the things are that you guys are doing. Loving the progress you guys have made. Can't wait to see more!
yall are amazing, quite the project, just different to see how you guys have older equipment and get buy in comparison to some of the other farm tubers. Must say your cinemetography is high class
Always enjoy watching your ability to see an issue, make a plan and fix the issue for your needs on the farm. Well done once again. BTW not near enough footage of Bob getting to scrape all that wonderful, and I sure stinky, carpet out out of the cab. Missed the opportunity for some serious carpet humor! Thanks for sharing and wishing a very Merry Christmas to the entire Welker family.
You all 3 are amazing people. Workmanship, skills on anything y’all do is always amazing!!! Gonna have to come up one day and meet you all. Superb folks right here folks. No I am not some popular guy but I am just a good ole country boy living the dream. my in-laws are well known throughout the world wide for her outstanding work as a news anchor. Edit ✍️; Typos etc
I can’t believe you haven’t hit a million subs yet. Zach Johnson promised he’d take Anna(his German Shepard) for a tractor ride, which he did when he hit a million. Coby practically drives a Big Bud, that alone should get you a million….but I’m biased.😂 With all the complex fabrications on top of the farming in big sky country, you should have 2 million
Hope you took into consideration the flex of a tire that size and the rotational mass in the center of the tread. You may want to put that other plate back in and have that 2" lift better to be on the safe side.
I love it when y’all are in build mode. I found your channel when you were redoing the IH truck, and I’ve loved it ever since. Most of all, I love how you share your love of Jesus with your fans. God bless you
Amazing work guys...... the new Big Bud Build is a Behemoth of a project .... Slackers should be ashamed and be inspired at the same time with ya'll showing what can be done when you put your mind and resources to work..... thanks to all.
The wider gap on top of the fender well needed as the weight of the tractor settles down onto the tire. I would maintain that gap on top for the new tires.
Scott, Nick says he does all the heavy lifting and he has you do all the light work. Is that true? 😅🤣😂. Just kidding guys, Bob is the heavy lifter. He supported both of you growing up!! John here, photographing the beauty of the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee, y'all.
after the man recovered from having his arm severely hurt a couple of years ago there he is sitting under the same style heavy tractor working away in a precarious place. courage and know how getting it done.
Thank you Welker Farms for your channel! I see projects start and end in a useful addition to the farm. It's even better with the family component. Faith in the midst of all you do is heart felt. Joshua !:9 comes to mind if you are discouraged. I like your channel very much.
I thought “repete” was going to be something to see when done, but, this Big Bud restoration is going to be epic. You three can accomplish anything. Be safe! Merry Christmas.
Have watched you guys farm and fabricate since day one. Amazing what you have done and look forward to this series and the finished product. Merry Christmas
You guys are creating a beast of a Tractor, I hope you have fun when you first turn the key on it and it roars into life....make sure it scares all the other Big Buds on the farm into order! its time you created the Apex Predator of Big Buds! Also I hope you have an awesome Christmas!! and an even better New Year!
The talents and problem-solving abilities of the 3 of your are commendable. We like seeing the physical work but am interested in the planning side also. Are you keeping track of your man-hours? That would be an interesting number at the end of the project. Oh, and the green and yellow stripes ought to stay!
I'm going to watch it again a few times because the time went by so fast. I love to do this same kind of stuff, not as big by a long way but I'm a builder of things. Sure enjoy this channel.
After seeing how easy this is to do, everyone will be making this modification to their Big Buds. 😂 Nice work, guys, and of course, I'm being sarcastic. That is a ton of work. Be sure to pressure test your oil tanks before painting and filling with oil. Oil will find any little hole and leak, I used to build oil tanks on Wagner Mining Equipment loaders and dump trucks.
If your sprayer project is any sign. This one will come out great. Think some of the first videos of your was you guys swappinh the engine in one of your otger buds.
I love u guys taking us along on this build. This is going to be an awesome tractor. It will be so useful on farm and powerful. Again thx and a very merry Christmas to all on welker farms.
This tractor rebuild is epic. This is way better then watching someone do a will it start video on an old car just to leave the car sit there. The advantage to rebuilding this monster on your own is you guys will know every inch of this bad boy front to back. I'd suggest the name phoenix because this baby is rising from the ashes but idk if that's a good big bud name lol, Big Phoenix lol . Merry Christmas everyone and God bless us, everyone. 🎅 🤶 🎄 And I'd be willing to bet that this rebuild will be the envy of farmers across the country. Not anywhere near a epic fail. I have much faith in you guys. All farmers should be watching this series.
We appreciate all the support and suggestions. I want to take a minute to give credit to the BIG BUD engineers for designing such strong frames throughout their tractor series. To Yall have a great Xmas to everyone at Welker Farms inc And to every one who follows the channel
God Bless
Hopefully we will be seeing LSW duals all the way around-!
Are you worried about introducing stress prone areas into the fenders at your new bend areas?
Nice work on those fenders!
I do like a Bud build. This is a real Winter treat. Thanks Welker Farms....
Once again reminding myself that farmers are some of the smartest people around. This is my favorite video series going on TH-cam right now!
I always go back to the Ontos, aka The Thing: That time US Marines and the farmers joined in Grunts and Crafts...and stuck 6 recoilless rifles on a medium tank with 6 M2s as "sighting guns".

Same here! Really exiting:)
You guys will be remembered as that pair of brothers that rebuilt and modified Big Buds! Legends of The Montana grain fields!
yep. They have the beast so why not mod and field test a proven formula
Don’t forget they learned much of their skills from their Dad and he’s not to shabby of a fabricator himself.
If I were to be honest, I don’t know how you don’t already have 1,000,000 subs. Y’all put in so much work in to what y’all do and I think that people just don’t care.
Agri is a slow business
😆

@farmingisfun5871
I agree with you
Lately many of theyr old videos are popping up! Like 5-8 years ago! Thats cool
Because all they do is polish a turd or sprinkle glitter on it 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Enjoy watching you guys rebuild the new Big Bud... your skills are what built America..May God continue to bless all of you and yours
Love this build great work Welkers!!!! And Merry Christmas to all.
Thank you for your support and following. We wish you a very Blesssed Christmas.
Thanks for having us along on this rebuild, great vid. Merry Christmas to the Welker families.
I am super excited for this build. I can’t wait for each video to come out. So much fun seeing unique content from you guys. Thanks for bringing us along!
I love it to, these builds are so satisfying to watch, especially reviving an old Big Bud to be a work horse again.
G-d bless.

Biggest set of fender flairs on TH-cam! Heavy metal heroes!
You guys are fanstic. This build is absolutely amazing. The knowledge of all three of you can't be beat and thinking so far ahead.
I can remember sitting watching some of your older vids with my late father and he always said im happy to see people rebuilding and working old iron keeping history alive
Scott: "Nah, I'm just talking to the guys in the camera."
Nick: "That's weird!"
😂😂😁😁😂😂
Watching sparks fly into the air to get work done, is never a bad thing.. American made!!
This Big Bud project is going to be magnificent. Remember guys, not only are you saving an American classic, you're going to gain a very usable tractor & continuing the Welker Farm legacy. So cool! 😎
You guys have inspired me into metal work, fabricating and mechanics, can't thank you guys enough! Keep up the great work!
Good ol farm boys was raised on a farm myself and it taught me a multitude of skills my admiration to all three of you and great videos
Can’t wait to see this monster finished
rear pto, I knew it. 700 HP grain auger, nice
You guys never cease to amaze me at your expertise and ingenuity when modifying your equipment for your needs. Amazing! Thanks for taking us on the ride!!!!
This is quite a project. Take care.
I am totally in awe, not just of your can-do spirit, but of your ingenuity, pragmatism, design skills, and metalworking abilities! Wish my Pa - a lifelong, do-it-yourself type farmer - was alive to see your videos.

Can't wait till you guys get done with it you guys do awesome work. It's gonna be a BEAST when you guys get done with it.
I give you guys mad respect God bless to all the farmers around the world
Amen!!!!!
A pallet jack for removing/installing tires helps immensely.
Especially when you don’t have enough room in the shop to get at it from the side
Hope you checked with Ron Harmon on the factory warranty, on if you're voiding the warranty!😂 Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all and Coby!
I’m really enjoying this project guys! A great lesson in American farmer ingenuity. Great respect…
Thanks boys for the show will be great to see that beast reliving another 40 years
This is one heck of a project, love the videos!
Very excited by this series. Hope you get a bigger cab. Love the shots with the kids riding along.
Always excited to see another new Welker Farms video on the Big Bud build.
The Big Bud build going to wind up being a virtually brand new tractor! Amazing work. Merry Christmas. Grateful to be a long time subscriber. Peace.
I'm impressed with your guy's ambition on the metal working part of this tractor! We own a 525/50 and a 450/50 and know just how heavy and difficult some of the things are that you guys are doing. Loving the progress you guys have made. Can't wait to see more!

Recycling in its purest form, very good to see old metal being crafted into something new.
There is a lot of satisfaction in a job like that. Especially when it rolls out of the shop on its own power
Love the jig to size things right. The residual weld stresses hopefully won't haunt you later.
Looking good Y'all have a merry Christmas
Best build on TH-cam right now been waiting for the next video
Happy Holidays to everyone in the Welker family.
You all 3 are amazing people. Workmanship, skills on anything y’all do is always amazing!!! Gonna have to come up one day and meet you all. Superb folks right here folks. Typos etc
Y’all deserve more than a million subs. Y’all work so hard, so awesome to see the work that you all accomplish!
I can’t believe you haven’t hit a million subs yet. Zach Johnson promised he’d take Anna(his German Shepard) for a tractor ride, which he did when he hit a million. Coby practically drives a Big Bud, that alone should get you a million….but I’m biased.😂

It always makes me smile to a video from you guys. Thanks and Merry Christmas from Tennessee! God bless your family!

Paul from Iowa, appreciate you guys, Love the videos. That Baby will be like riding on a Cloud when you get her going. Take Care
Thanks for the video. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your families
Amazing job!

What a beast! Love the work you guys are doing.
Much better than buying a new tractor that no one can afford.
Moo-man.
Agreed, no debt, no emissions, and will last another 40 years.
No blueprint for what y’all are doing. The tire sizing fixture is genius. Gettin’ it done. Thanks.
Of course ... Scott is the man for the job ...
Another reason why Leg_Arms is so needed at Welker Farms ...
Best build series on TH-cam! I can't wait to see it done 👍😊
after the man recovered from having his arm severely hurt a couple of years ago there he is sitting under the same style heavy tractor working away in a precarious place. courage and know how getting it done.
We must never forget that there are old farmers & bold farmers but hardly any old bold farmers!🤔
Take care Scott, Nick & Bob. 😊
Are you thinking of widening the cab? Just a little work with the fire wrenches. More room would be nice! 😁
Thank you Welker Farms for your channel! I see projects start and end in a useful addition to the farm. It's even better with the family component. Faith in the midst of all you do is heart felt. Joshua !:9 comes to mind if you are discouraged. I like your channel very much.

A a lot of hard work ahead. I am 💯 percent confident the team will pull it off.
The Wright Brothers FLEW. The Welker Brothers (and Bob) are "FLYING" a BIG BUD! So far...amazing!
Thanks for the video. Project coming along good.
The Iowa farm boy.
Have watched you guys farm and fabricate since day one. Amazing what you have done and look forward to this series and the finished product. Merry Christmas
This is such an exciting project, I can't wait to see this thing come together
Love that yall are doing date codes on the videos..!!!
This build is so cool and I’m really enjoying watching you guys do it.
20:04 Cardboard Assisted Drawing. I knew you could do CAD nick!
Neat to see!! I hope those tires are free and they are paying for all those extra hours!
You guys are amazing!! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas from Oklahoma.
Great build series, would love to of seen you putting a modern cab on it
Amazon filler pieces. To see you three working together is so great. True American ingenuity.
Behold the Big Big Bud.
This is unbelievably cool. Can't wait to see it finished
A Honda boy would have done it with a bat. 😂
Seriously though good job men. Worlds biggest fender flair goes to Welker Farms!!
Great to see Mega Bud Morfing into a One of a kind.. Who doesn't Love Bug Buds from the United Kingdom
The talents and problem-solving abilities of the 3 of your are commendable. We like seeing the physical work but am interested in the planning side also. Are you keeping track of your man-hours? That would be an interesting number at the end of the project. Oh, and the green and yellow stripes ought to stay!

I love this series! Look forward to every video!

Its so cool seeing you guys make this Big Bud better than ever.
I love u guys taking us along on this build. This is going to be an awesome tractor. It will be so useful on farm and powerful. Again thx and a very merry Christmas to all on welker farms.
Merry Christmas 🎁🎄
Can wait to see that big brute goin down the road!!! May the Welker family and friends have a awsome Merry Christmas! Stay safe and BUILD ON!!!!!
merry christmas Welker families
This is going to be a phenomenal tractor when it's finished.
Another good one , seems so smooth just watching a video thanks Welkers
Man I can't wait to see it finished!
Love your work! Cheers from NZ!
