I'm thinking about getting one of these and using it on an iPhone 14 Pro Max. I have a Moment filter mount threaded in 67mm. I'm wondering if it will work well on a smartphone? I contacted Neewer via email and they said it hasn't been tested on smpartphones and tney recommended I get the Neewer 67mm Lens Filter Kit. This kit includes color filters (red, orange, yellow, and blue) - not sure I'd ever use them. it also includes a 67mm CPL filter, a 67mm ND32 filter, a 67mm 6-point filter. It also has a lens clip and an 37-67mm adapter ring, but with me having the moment lens mount I don't plan on using the Neewer clip or adapter ring. So I'm wondering if I should go for the 2 in 1 ND/CPL filter or get the Neewer smartphone lens kit? I like the thought of having one filter that combines a polarizing filter and a variable ND filter; rather than the smartphone kit which only has a ND filter that is set to ND32. I am by no means a professional photographer. I just want to enhance my smartphone photography by enhancing the sky, landscape, and cutting out glare/reflections with a CPL filter and occasionally using a variable ND filter to control light and slow down water for waterfalls and streams. Thoughts?
I thought it was funny that you instructed people how to pronounce “aluminum” and then said “frew” instead of “through” Yes I’m just kidding around. Thanks for the great review!
@@KasperHeisenbaconDavies Not sure if I went through. I clicked on it but it took me to the UK site so I had to close it and switch to US. I ordered three items. A sigma 16mm, a ND filter and some guitar wall hangers. Keep an eye out for it. 😊
It has a thread mount on the front so in theory yes you could, but I reckon three layers of glass in front of your lense may be a step to far, i unfortunately didn't mention this in the video but there are times where the filter dictates the depth of feild because of distortion in the corners.
@@KasperHeisenbaconDavies gotcha, i was looking to get a promise or the new cinebloom from moment. maybe the glass from the newer might take away some of the digital look
@@hoodaffairstv I wish I could ad to this, but I don't have any experience with either brands, I know that Gobe have some very good reviews, but i think the price will reflect on this too.
I know the rest of the world calls it "aluminium" but that pronunciation sounds kinda silly compared to aluminum. But then again aluminum probably sounds just as silly to my friends across the ocean
