Your reaction to the controversial “I am the law of Moses.” was so insightful. When everyone is accusing Dallas of taking it from the book of Mormon you explained it so well that Jesus said, “I am,” in so many verses in the book of John. And he is the Word! Case closed. You guys are my favorite people who react to The Chosen.

Not everyone is one online article did.
Jesus could have said, "I gave the Law to Moses". Or "I am the God of Moses". Or even what he actually said, "I came to fulfill the Law given to Moses". Jesus is so much better than the Law of Moses....so this statement in the movie, actually detracts from his divinity. I would not have used that line in this scene.

Jesus is the law of Moses. He wrote the law and will judge all things. The pharisees had no idea who they were dealing with. They mistakenly thought they could bring judgement on God himself.

Last Tuesday, with my small group we had Bible discussion in John chapter 5 and it is written “For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?””

Moses wrote of Jesus that He would come to redeem people FROM THE LAW
He did not write that He WAS THE LAW.
To say that Jesus Is The Law is to say that the 10 Commandments were God
The stone tablets were NOT God
They were GIVEN BY God

We are condemned by the Law only as we stand condemned before God; rejection of God's statutes( which are good) = rejection of God( who is good) = rejection of the *TRUTH* ( which is good) = condemnation under the law. Thus, there is no conflict in asserting both that Jesus was *the* Truth, rejected by those who hate truth, and that He came as a perfect, atoning sacrifice, to deliver us from the condemnation of our failure to love Truth perfectly in all of our ways. Not only do the two propositions exist in perfect harmony, the are literally opposite sides of the same coin.😉

Dallas, just so you know (as I am sure you have already heard), this series has created a deeper awareness of the "personhood" of Jesus that has caused me to go deeper into my own discipleship (Mark 16 signs of the believer) and I have a new excitement to minister to ALL people for the glory of Jesus and the saving of souls. Great job to everyone on the series, and I mean EVERYONE! Grace and Peace.

Sam, your face is a delight to watch. During the first trailer you were so excited your eyes just sparkled. During the second trailer your forehead was furrowed. Your intensity was palpable. Tom, your excitement tempered with your desire for accuracy was refreshing. It almost looks like you stopped breathing as you watched. I thought we weren’t going to get any more of the Sermon on the Mount during the crowd scenes. It will be interesting to see how it is handled.
To the production team - Thank you very much for including the outtakes. Those are hilarious! And you are important to keeping those two under control. I love you all and I am looking very much forward to hearing your analysis of episodes one and two.

In the first season when Nicodemus and Shumel are talking after the John situation.. Shumel says God is the law. It's basically the same line so I don't understand no fuss about it then, why now.
Chantal, what Shmuel actually said was that “the law IS God,” which is completely backward but definitely describes the way many Pharisees seemed to treat the law, and God. 😉

I've been waiting for your guys reaction video! 😁I am excited! Both trailers are awesome but man that second one was heavy.. I think it's going to be tough if Judas ends up being a likeable character 😬 we know where he ends up so it's a tough one. I thought that the I am the law of Mose line was awesome definitely a mic drop moment. I think this is the middle mark of the series so we are in for a emotional roller coaster from this season and beyond.

When Tom did the mic drop motion-I felt relief. I posted both of the trailers with a mic drop and the BIG LINE on Facebook when The Chosen first put them out. Some people were not happy with it. Glad to have The Grafted team sharing this video! HE IS THE WORD! ❤️🔥

I agree - I wasn’t prepared to watch the clip either - I was in the work break room heating up lunch - then I heard Jesus say “I Am The Law of Moses” and had to contain my euphoria! I immediately shared with friends that phrase hi-lighted!
Season 3 is my favorite season. When the Savior says I AM THE LAW OF MOSES, I had the same reaction. He is the Great I AM!

I saw an interview with the actors they said season 3 will absolutely melt your heart this season has 4 times better than the first two, the line where he said I Am the Law of Moses I got the chills, people have been talking about that line but Dallas said you have to see the scene to understand why he said that, I just love it and I love the humor.

Watching reactions to the trailer from someone who has loves the chosen is one thing. Watching reactions from people who love the chosen and ALSO knows the scriptures is so much fun.
What came after he said, I am the law of Moses, on the cliff was incredible. Something like, not going to happen today, as they all just looked in disbelief.

I went to see it twice in the theater this past weekend. It was so well done! SO well done. Amen to your comments, He is The Great I Am. I sure can't wait til everyone else gets to see it.
Have tickets for November 18th and I can’t wait!! If they have that sermon in the 1st episode that will be so amazing to watch it in the theater. I plan to take my tissues for I know I will use them just listening to the trailer it was already getting to me.

Probably a while season 4 has yet to be funded episode 1-3 done 4 is almost funded and then they got 4 more episodes to fund. Hopefully the theater release does really well 🙏and we get an episode or two funded or its waiting on more people to pay it forward which at this rate could take another half year before filming starts.

When I First saw the theatrical trailer, I got such a RUSH of goosebumps and sucked in air at the same time when Jesus(Jonathan Roumie) leaned forward to the pharisee and VERY BOLDLY spoke "I AM THE LAW OF MOSES!" I'm looking forward to the season 3 after it leaves the theaters and is put on line (the chosen app, TH-cam, etc.)

👋 my daughter wanted to hold a Shabbat dinner the week before Thanksgiving. I was wondering if you guys could help me. I would love for it to be as authentic as possible. I'm so excited. Maybe it will become a regular thing!
That's great your daughter brought it up and wanted to have a shabbat dinner I'd be proud if that was my kid. All I know about the shabbat dinner is it starts at Friday at sundown with the lighting of candles and the reciting of the kiddush blessing over grape juice or wine and challah bread is passed to everyone with a blessing parents will do over children. Also no meat or dairy in your dessert.

Please go read all the verses in the Bible about the requirements of Shabbat. That’s all you need to do. Nothing more. Includes Isaiah 58.
Everything else is Jewish tradition. Of course most of those traditions can be beautiful and we include some, but some of them actually go against scripture. Be careful. You must know scripture to figure that out. The blessing over the candle is a total lie. We omit that. And there’s absolutely nothing in scripture about no meat and dairy together. Shabbat is an amazing delight and I am so excited to hear it’s spreading again!!! ♥️ Praise YHVH!!!!

I think it might be more of a controversy to trinitarians. They believe there are 3 individual deities...I think.
You don't understand the fuss because you don't understand the Bible, nor do you understand the language that the NT was originally written in. The Greek word "logos" that is translated as "Word" shows that Jesus exists as God's Spokesman/Representative, not the literal words in the Bible.
