@@aidygooner Please tell me what he should have changed, to renounce to high pressing, possession and passing game, quick offensive passing combinations, one on one play, exceptional fitness ? Do you guys ever understand his vision and tactics, do you ever understand how it worked well in the first season and exceptionally in the second and third season (and why it didn't work in his last season), or you keep telling your amateur crappy opinions (which are far away of the reality) ?

The only time I have seen a fan base so show much love to a manager who was doing poorly enough to be sacked was Arsen Wenger at Arsenal. That was a man who brought a club their glory days, kept an average squad in the champions league year on year, and was there for decades, and even then a huge portion of their fans wanted him out.
Marcelo has built more love in 4 years than one of the most successful managers in premier league history did in 20.
    Truly incredible.
I can understand why he had to go, and I am truly optimistic for the future, but this man has done more for my club than I could have ever imagined. I hope he always has a place in Leeds.

My 20 year old son and I had one of the best days of our lives, in a bar, in Guernsey off the cost of France as Leeds were finally promoted - we cheered, we laughed, we cried together... we threw up later from over exuberance, we didn't care. Times change, men pass, but I think Bielsa has left a mark on the club, on the city, he recovered the pride of his people for his club, I think the Leeds fan has the same passion as the Argentine fan in the sense of belonging to its colors, it has given respect to its players, some of them in the national team (something unthinkable years ago) It's a critical moment for the team and you could see it coming, I don't know if it was due to MB's blindness or the players who didn't want to or didn't know, Leeds will be in my affections, don't lose that passion for the club, win or lose, don't lose identity because rich owners with dubious promises.

Thanks all Leeds fans who support this man! I am a fan Argentina, since Marcelo arrives every weekend I followed the team! This journey was incredible, all the process, how the player evolution, everything was very emotional, all the players working together, all the heat from the fans. I felt in love with this team, this club, this city. The first seasons… Leeds was very near to up to the premier. I was so sad! But I knew that next year Marcelo will do it. And he did it! It was incredible the pandemic happened, nothing stop him. I remember me thinking the world is so fucking injustice, the fans waited so much this moment, and now nobody can be in the stadium. Well, is gone. I was sure Marcelo will keep the team at the premier, now we will see… hope so!

Such a good human in a 'sport' that has become so filled with money, greed and a complete lack of decency and integrity on and off the pitch. I feel in a way he is too good a man to be involved in a sport like this. Despite everything he conducted himself with class and humility which I will sorely miss. I only wish I could personally thank him for changing the face of Leeds United and for giving us hope after years of being in the wilderness. I feel like I am in mourning, but most of all I feel he should have been allowed a rightful send off at the end of the season if he had wished to leave and I would happily have sacrificed being in this shark infested, money grabbing, play acting 'league'. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Marcelo and I hope the Gods allow you to read this some day

A very sad day for us and of course Marcelo Bielsa. Those 2 seasons in the championship were 2 of the greatest of my life. Yes there were greater Leeds teams before, however the magic and belief he bestowed onto those guys was close to miraculous. He turned a mid table squad into one of the best ever tier 2 teams, with very few new signings. In fact he would have got promotion in his first year, if it wasn't for the loss of star striker (Roofe), for a big part of that season. Injuries though have been cruel to Leeds and Bielsa over the last 3 years... this was probably the main factor in his downfall.
I did not want him to go like this, truth is though, it seems a few of the players had lost faith in him too.

As much as I love Leeds, this man made me want to watch games because of the way Leeds played. I remember last season how we played at Goodison Park and even at Astin Villa. I was so shocked. I've watched the Kewells and Vidukas of the past but nothing came close. I'll still be a Leeds Utd fan but tbh I don't think ill enjoy watching their games now. I just hope I'm proven wrong. Good luck Marcelo. You deserve only the best.

Athletic has won trophies after he left, but I have not enjoyed watching them play as much as I did when Marcelo was here.
Hopefully, he will coach somewhere else soon and we will all enjoy their football.

From a world figure with responsibilities to a stranger in his 70"s of no account , I received a short letter in broken English with an apology and appreciation of my feelings . Vaya con dios

The trouble was that we needed Marcela more than he ever needed us and somewhere along the line that was forgotten. I lived through the glory days of Revie, Hunter, Bremner, Madeley et al and the years that followed. The last three & a half years have been amazing and I wouldn't have missed it for the world but in the end the pundits from the shallow end of the gene pool and all the "wannabee's"," never were'" and keyboard experts got their way and we as a team are poorer for it. Thank you for making me smile (and cry) and god go with you, me and a lot of other fans will never ever forget what you did for us.
