I saw it (good video, btw) but I'm looking at this category & wondered if you had an update or a "suck-off" ( :D LOL) for the Beast shown in this vid & it's new brother the blue wall mount small vac (VWMB508 & how that one compares to this testing)? I'm in the market for a small vac for the smaller shop in my basement. Don't have the room for a full-size w/d vac, so I'm looking at these smaller units. thanks!
OMFG I totally agree! I hate all those damn TH-cams who make 30 minute reviews that could have been a few minutes. They just _love_ to hear themselves talk and talk and talk! Just get straight to the point!!
I bought the Ridgid 14 gallon 6.5 shop vac with the detachable blower. It has powerful suction and the blower moves a ton of air quickly. It's great for detailing and work's great to blow off the water after a wash and to vacuum out the interior all in one unit.
These are the facts we need instead of people's feelings (opinions), well done sir. I was looking for the right portable vacuum for my car and to clean up small messes that my cats make with their litter. Great video!
Was going to buy the armor all 2hp vacuum. Then watched your video and bought the vac master beast. The suction on the beast lives up to the name. By far the best suction relevant to vacuuming that I’ve experienced. Thank you and new sub!
I'd love it if you could do a cordless car detail test as well. Especially for people in apartments or mobile detailers who don't have access to a power outlet - which cordless vac has the best accessory pack and the best performance for car detailing would be great!
After hours of reading all over the internet and feeling very confused, I then saw this excellent, concise review and it had everything I needed to know. Great helpful vid. Thanks!
@@VacuumWars Dang! You should get sound levels on these and repost! Do you remember if any of them were particularly noisier or quieter than the others. This would be important to a lot of people.
Yes, I just youtubed “quietest shop vac. And nothing is available. I thought, I guess I will have to make a comparison video for noise. I am trying to find a new shop vac. I bought one at a auction for $3 and it didnt have a hose, my hoses dont fit it right, and it needed a new filter after I used it a bunch; and a new filter is $40.
Vacuum Wars yea and still rewatching this 😂 Edit I feel these should have a turbo nozzle because the airflow with some of these could really spin the brush and have stiff brushes would prob give it as much agitation as a power nozzle
Awesome video! Exactly what I needed to watch for help purchasing a car detailing vacuum. The video explains things perfectly! I had a hard time trying to find the water suction rating thru ridged, but found it here. Keep up the great work
Never thought I’d be watching vacuum vids, but this was very helpful in deciding what I wanted to go with. Thank you for the great vid and getting straight to the point 👌
@@joserocha884 Vacmaster Beast 14 gal stainless steel, bit better than the one in the video! Still working great til this day..haven’t even realized it’s been 2 years already lol it’s by far the best all around vacuum. I use it for detailing and cleaning pet hairs! Heavy duty stuff for sure.
I have a commercial cleaning company for 11 years now and HENRY is the best vacuum ever, they will never die. Non stop 5 straight hours of vacuum every night and they still wont break. Quiet and small too.
Just got the beast delivered today. FYI this thing is so powerful it will suck the sides of the bucket in about 1/2” near the locking clamps for the bucket. Im not sure if this thing is very sturdy. I may return it back to amazon and try the rigid. Just something to note, I don’t remember this mentioned in the reviews. But the reviews were great!
Yes, I already had the footage I needed (using the same number of passes as the others, with the camera mounted on the ground that is the footage used when comparison footage was needed) there is actually a bit of a time gap between the first set of passes and the second which is hard to see in the sped up top down gopro shot. but basically after I had the shot I needed for the scientific part, I gave it some extra passes to see how much better it could do. Mostly it was just for my own curiosity.
I saw you posted this over on reddit as well, but thought I'd comment directly on this video. I have an older ridgid that I just love and its half the hp rating seen here. I'd be curious to try one of the newer ones, I'm impressed with even the suction on the ridgid that this can probably pull double duty as a light use carpet extractor for upholstery. I'd love to see a comparison with the larger 6hp ridgid (although in reality that's more like 1.5hp working power, since 6hp out of a 110v US outlet would draw something like 40 amps so these hp numbers are BS). Vacmaster also makes a dual stage motor version and that probably is even higher numbers. Thanks for posting this review!
i went today car detailing store. and they wanted 300$ for clean my car. i told them hell nah. i said to myself i can do better. and here i am. i decided to but vac master vaccum. hopefully i can use this vaccum for my car and for my house . ty for video again.
Have you ever considered reviewing DIY shop vac as well? Could they also be used to clean the car too? Great videos, never thought I’d like them as much as I do. Keep it up 👍🏻
We don't use these in our shop, but after watching this video I think we are definitely going to look into buying a couple of these brands to test ourselves. Thanks for the great video!
You have to factor in price and warranty. With Ridgid being cheaper by $10 as of my comment, it beats the Vacmaster. Additionally, you get a lifetime warranty on Ridgid products, but not on the Vacmaster. Also, Home Depot sells the Ridgid 4070 with detailing attachments and hose extenders at this price. I would go with the Ridgid with those facts in mind.
The European version of the Beast has wheels, automatic cable winding and hepa filter, it is rated at 1500w. Unfortunately it does not come with the large flat suction head, but there are similar ones to buy.
You're awesome this is the best explanatory video ever, please I want your opinion between the vacmaster VWM510 and beast which is better for car detailing garage?

Wow we need more people like you on this website. Making a high quality and concise comparison between vacuums. No fluff. Just the data. Amazing.
Yeah this is the great side of youtube for sure.
Oh yeah yeah
No fluff. Because vacuum cleaners.
Thanks for not making this a 32 minute video

Hello, i sell wet dry vacuum from amazon, i have some new product that need to test, are you interesting?
@@jackhe2461 I am happy to test for you. Please send me a message. I work with a mobile detailing business so if we like it we would need several.
This is the channel I come to every time I need to buy a new vacuum. Great, no-nonsense content.
Thank you!
I have the Armor All, I use this weekly on 3 vehicles, works just fine, no complaints.
Would this provide good enough results for customer satisfaction? I do my own car grooming for work
You should include a noise level rating in a test like this. Still helpful overview though.
Yeah I should have. I have the equipment, I just forgot.
@@VacuumWars Dang! You should get sound levels on these and repost! Do you remember if any of them were particularly noisier or quieter than the others. This would be important to a lot of people.
The noise rating of the winner (Vacmaster Beast) is 74dB.

I appreciate the straight to the point video. Thank you.

The Beast. Ty for not dragging this out to 81 mins
All around Ez (4,5 hp) has been my daily driver for house maintenance and car detailling for 2 years now. I'm loving it!
Not sure why. But I needed this video in my life.
Great video and information!! Thank you

Best straight to the point review ever. Thanks 👌🏽

Thanks! And thanks for stopping by!
Is the vacmaster beast still the number one portable car detail vacuum?
Vacmaster Beast
Excellent review. Very helpful. Thanks.
Very welcome!
Thank you so much for this detailed info
Amazon has the BEAST on sale at the moment. :) thanks for the review!
Appreciate all your hard work and research on this. Super helpful.
Thank you for this information and comparison.
That was an amazing video.. feels too easy lol thanks sooo much!!!

Best video out in this segment hands down.
I’ve had the Ridgid Vac for 3 years now and that thing still works like brand new. I highly recommend it.
Most professional detailers use Ridgid....because they perform and are durable. The lifetime warranty should be the deal maker for most buyers.
Perfect. How a video like this should be.
aw thanks.
Very informative. Thank you.
You are welcome!
Very helpful!! You rock!
Glad you think so! Thanks!
Great review, some proper tests and attention to the attachments is what i wanted.
Thanks for your help! Very useful tips.
Any steam cleaners you'd recommend?
Ohh you done it now!!
Here we go again!!

Great comparison, just wondering if that Vacmaster is the same exactly unit as Craftsman & Maximum
Craftsman, same, made by same company.
Great video. Thanks for taking the time to do this
Amazing video thanks so much 👍🏽🙏🏽

Would be interested to see a wall mount commercial detail shop vacuum test. Understand if its not possible since it may be too expensive.
This was a super helpful and thorough review. THANK YOU!! Great job.
Awesome video. Would love to see one about battery powered shop vacs and how they compare.
It’d be cool if these came with motorized brushes for stair cleaning or small jobs.
My armor all vac works pretty good for now I'm happy with it
