I thought Vegas was cheaper than LA. My gosh it’s getting close. You can get a nice home in nice parts of LA for 1.5 mil with 4 bed. Of course not Beverly Hills or hidden hills but these Vegas prices are getting out of hand, considering the 120 degree summers, cold winters, high winds and much less infrastructure / business than in so cal. I get there’s still $400k homes in Vegas too but same here in so cal with Palmdale-Lancaster and riverside/San Bernardino. This is mind blowing to me. Summerlin reminds me of say Porter ranch gated communities in so cal valley by LA city and there’s a good number of $1.5 mil homes. A lot of people in CA would sell high and retire to the deserts with lower home cost but that’s not looking like as much an option any longer. US home market is becoming an international rich playing field leaving middle class Americans behind.
Always appreciate the interaction. I’ve lived in Palmdale/Lancaster and have been through Riverside countless times, me personally, I’ll take Las Vegas 10/10.
@@JBRE i agree completely in the $500k home range- Vegas offers much more to do than Palmdale/lancaster/riverside and both have similar climates. But when we get to $1.5 mil homes I’d have to take LA over myself. I got a 1/2 acre lot 4-3 in Northridge and going rate is maybe $1.5 mil max. But with a lot of high rollers and money in Nevada and Vegas, there obviously is a high demand for luxury and nice areas too; so I get it. Red rock park is one of my favorite places to visit when going to Vegas so it must be a nice spot to live too.
Thats a true statement. Raised in Vegas and homes are outpacing America for pricing. for some reason Vegas wants to be the Entertainment sports capital of the world 😕
Maxar Technologies? Wonder if that house is owned by someone working remote or a contractor on special assignment. That is a growing space technology company out of Silicon Valley.
Summerlin standard. Nothing to complain. With some changes absolutly liveable. Corner lot always great.
Always appreciate the interaction. Question, what changes would you make other than cosmetic preferences?
