A few observations. Beautiful home, but I feel that in these modern houses the floor plans look all the same. The great room concept may be beautiful to photograph for Home & Gardens but is actually vey unpractical to live on a daily basis. The proximity of the kitchen to the living room means that kitchen noises and smells are shared by everybody. Try watching TV when your wife is making dinner. I know these open floor plans are very popular these days, but I believe that in the future we will go back to a more traditional separation of the 2. The solution may be to have 2 kitchens. One for show, and one more private for the actual cooking. And finally, the backyard is nice and big, perfect for a beautiful swimming pool.

I’m planning to relocate there and I’m planning to rent our bedrooms while I will live there. 2) If paid in cash, is it possible to get huge credits or discounts? Have you checked Las Vegas unemployment numbers? You know that tourist is the main industry in LV right? How many people do you think are employed in tourism right now? Do you think people are going to be flying in to LV and gamble there money away anytime soon? Think about these things before you decide to move to Vegas and rent out your bedrooms on Airbnb or something.
This is one of the few houses on the channel that I fully like. I would build it and totally skip the second floor. The master bathroom is a bit narrow... but it is good to finally see a proper master closet.
completely agree - this is upgraded to the max - wait till you see the basic house - pony walls on the stairs, normal slider and a window. just a boring standard house.
Not familiar with the Las Vegas area , but I've watched a few videos and have a question concerning the sliders. I understand that some people may want that "bringing the outside in" kind of vibe, but doesn't that just bring all the hot desert air rushing into the house as well? Also seems like having all those Sliders in operation is a excellent way to invite all the flying, crawling and walking nature easier access into the house. Do the residents ever have issues with the wildlife under those circumstances? Love your tours and all the good information!

My parents are older. It's important to remember that the older generation are used to taking baths instead of showers. If you have a Casita, make sure it has a tub/shower combo instead of just showers because the older generation would want a bath tub and if you don't have a bath tub you lower the value of the property because some families won't purchase the property if the Casita doesn't have a tub. (You just have to remember the preference of different generations. Younger generations prefer showers but older generations that grew up in the 1950s and 1960s are used to baths).
Really nice. I hate the kitchen nook decor and game room. That is bedroom type decorations. The circle mirrors and lamps was a no. Do you have to get gas on these homes or is plain electric ok?

love the design/layout of the home. I love an open concept but I’d probably pay more for a better kitchen design if that’s even an option. The kitchen cabinets look cheap. The lot in the backyard is huuuuge! Enough space for a pool!
Hey Chakits, how are you? I have really enjoyed watching your videos. They are informative. I know you give the base price. Could also include what the price would be, if you wanted the upgrades in the model.
Great build at a reasonable price point with the master on the first floor, no bedroom or second story above the master so noise would be low to none, that's great for growing older and got room to assure all guess are comfortable that visit. I really wouldn't have a reason to go up stairs with the master on the 1st floor but I'm okay with that. If I can't get what I want in ATL I may consider Vegas since I do have family living in the area also. Now this price, hopefully not base, mean that this home is competing with the 2 million dollar home with all that land and hitting almost all my wants at the Anthem Country Club..... with that choice I have to wait a bit longer to drop the cash, someone else may buy it, but this one may be in the list as the first home I own....tired of renting with cheap furniture that can make moving faster because I can just throw it all away with no moving trucks which saves a bit of cash....also Japanese styled bedding so that is easy to pickup and move. When I get a real place that I can call my own at least 100 - 150K is Furniture and electronic....maybe more.
Why doesn't any of these homes have solar panels? Is there any community in or near the Summerland area that caters to green living in New modern homes? If so, can you provide some videos?
That's what I was wondering as well. Why don't new houses have solar panel options? It would seem most appropriate in a place with lots of sunshine and high electricity bill for heating and cooling.
