Just 1 point. Running the engine for 2-5 minutes before draining the oil is a good practice. This helps to get the oil warmed up and get little bit less viscous. So it drains easily and more oil is able to get out of the case.
Nice and clear explanation👌 Which Engine Oil you recommend for KTM Duke 390 apart from Motorex bcoz it isn't available in our country and which one you pick Amsoil Metric 15w50, Motul 300V or 7100 or Putoline Ester Tech 15w50....Thanks😊
Great video, thank you so much. I'm having a very difficult time screwing the plastic louver centerpiece back in .. I just can't get the holes to line up. It's about a half inch high and I have to push down really hard while blindly trying to get the threads started. If you have any tip I would really appreciate it
Mine is 2015 rc 390 i recently changed the oil and filled 1.7L but the level is not showing on the sight glass.when i tilt the bike to right side like 75° it shows the oil Any solution for it
Keep it straight up. After you run it for 2 minutes or so, you should see oil in the glass. If you don't, you need to top up your oil till you can see it. You're potentially damaging your bike every time you ride it without sufficient oil. If it's been awhile since you've done an oil change, do a full oil change like this video and continue to monitor oil levels daily. If it drops, take it to the mech
@@bigbonede6201 i googled it and apparently it doesn't matter if u use semi of fully synthetic oil. Fully synthetic is slightly better for the engine, but I doubt u will ever notice that.
@@bigbonede6201 haha that's good no problem. I used motul 7200 15w50 I believe (the orange fully synthetic), but I'm sure any 15w50 is fine, and as I said fully synthetic is slightly better.
I believe so. It’s been awhile since we swapped oil and filter on one of these but that sounds close. Always measure 3/4 up to full mark with bike standing upright. Thanks for following our channel and I hope it was helpful.
No torque wrench after telling us how important that you do not over tighten. I know you boys are experienced mechanics but as a tutorial you could do it correctly.

Hello, the drain filter must just be cleaned with the napkins? Or you have to change it with a new one? Thanks
You can cleaned it with brake cleaner and compressed air.

bro ı got rc125 too, but ı dont have those equipments, can u tell me how did u do that
Manual says 1.7 L or 1.8 quarts
Doesn't the manual say u need to use semi-synthethic oil?
SAE 15W-50 is what my manual says

You're correct
I’m gonna not watch the whole video and put the oil in the stator side 😂
