I have had an 88 GT in white, 93 LX Limited edition in performance red, 95 GT convertible in burgundy, 2017 GT Performance package in white and just recently purchased a 2021 Mach 1 in Grey. All great cars that are super fun to drive, loud and proud and never left me stranded on any road. Easy to maintain and to add on performance parts. Bullet proof and so reliable. Long live the mustang. It's America in a nutshell!

I'm on my 4th (different generation each) mustang. I wouldn't pick any other American muscle car.

    1:20 -- That's a fact. There's nothing else that sounds like a 5.0 Coyte V8 -- NOTHING!

Why does it matter when talking about "the women of mustang"? Stop tying political talking points to inanimate objects. Deliver the story on the mustang, and not who designs it or builds it.

Nothing against successful women but now I know why Ford would name the Mach E a Mustang. That is no more a Mustang than I am a vehicle designer!

I hope it doesn't look like the electric one that everyone hates and in no absolute way even comes close to looking like a Mustang.

They really should’ve just called the Mach E the Mustang II, because that’s what it was, the right vehicle for the right time. Ford needed an electric crossover. Consumers wanted an electric crossover. The Mustang II continued the nameplate through dark times, when it could have been killed off like so many others, but those consumers still wanted a mustang, even if they didn’t want a sporty gas guzzler coupe. They wanted something a little more posh with better fuel economy, and that’s exactly what the Mach E is. If they wanted a 4 cylinder eco boost, they would’ve bought it. But the high school cheerleader is all grown up and has kids now, and feels awkward in the grocery pick up lot with what’s essentially a toy. I mean, what will all the other moms say?

Mustang is a sporty car, not a sports car. Ford practically invented a segment in the market, and it is one in which no other manufacturer has seem to be able to stand a comparable and competitive equivalent. Historically speaking, it is not an outright high-performance vehicle; however, the more recent GT‘s are legitimate track cars. I have a 2007 GT, and it’s sedan underpinnings are unmistakable, however it maintains comfort and appealing simplicity, and I am keeping it as long as it is possible to repair and maintain.

I’n the 90’s I used have a Toyota Supra I used to race and beat Mustangs easy to beat because they do bloated under powered and over weight

That was before the 5.0 Coyte V8. Today's "Zupra" won't hold against a 6th Gen Mustang.

Oh yeah, and that's a stock GT model. Now the Shelby variant... its a case of what my late dad used to say, "Eat dust, buddy!"
