When my business was doing well back in 1996 I bought my wife a brand new Cobra Mustang in the same color and trim and options as the 94 in this episode. We only drove it in the summer and stored it in a climate controlled storage the rest of the year. We have many fond memories of enjoying that car. The 302 V8 in this car started out life all the way back in 1962 as the 221 which was used in the 1962 Ford Fairlane 500. Ended up getting bored out to 260 and 289 cubic inches for the Ford Falcon and Ford Mustang. In 1968, it was bored out to 302 cubic inches which basically remained unchanged until 2001. The Ford 221/260/289/302 along with the Ford 240/300 inline 6 are easily the most reliable engines that Ford ever made.

I once was the very proud owner of a 94 Cobra Mustang coupe (non-pace car) white on black leather (with a manual). I found mine used with seven hundred and sixty some miles on it back in 96/97. So it was basically a new (used) car at the time. Great memories. Wish I still had it, of course. Thanks Fluffy and Jay.

When I purchased my pace car, I also received a Ford certificate saying that I had purchased #917 of a 1000 car run. This car is fun to drive. I had a dyno tune and a Borla cat back exhaust, and new tires and wheels. Enjoy your ride.

As an SN-95 owner I appreciate this. I worked on a 94 pace car a couple years ago with 300 original miles. Compared to my 98 stroked 4 valve swapped GT I was impressed by the Cobra dispite the lower HP versus a 4V those things can still stick & move.

I bought an '89 5.0 Mustang new in December 1988 and proceeded to put a quarter million miles on it
over the next dozen years or so. The car was absolutely bulletproof. I beat snot - err, I mean I drove it in
the manner it which was originally intended - and when I sold it eventually years later (to a shop who
restores that era Mustangs), it still had never been apart, including the original clutch.
It's still the only non-Mopar I'd love to have another one of, 60+ years later.

Rear-side window fins Metallic Sky Blue. I cut off the catalytic converter and put semi-quiet glass packs and side pipes coming out just in front of the rear wheels.
