    The 700 CL-X has just been released in Australia and is selling for $9490 AU on the road which is just over 5,000 pounds UK. As a guide the Royal Enfield interceptor sells for $10,190 AU ride away and the MT07 for $13,199 AU out here. The suspension is by KYB. It's fitted with a slipper clutch, cruise control and has a three year warranty out here. So it certainly look like great value for money.

      One day...one day! CFMoto bikes will come to the US. This should work out to a shade under USD7K. A must ride, specially if kitted as you described in AU. Cruise and the warranty reeled me in :)

      Yep. Confirming, as 4-years owner (650TK). Very sturdy and well build bikes. Rode almost 50000 kilometers on mine - no problems. Never got to get in the engine or chassis. My next bike definitely will be from CFMoto (waiting for their 1250TR-G to hit global market)

    CFMOTO, as a brand, have come along way in terms of quality, fit and finish. Especially considering that they are cheaper to buy. People may turn their nose up regarding anything Chinese built however, the same was said when Japan started producing motorbikes. Now they are arguably the bench setters. Perhaps, one day we will see a CFMOTO bike take out the WSB or MotoGP’s titles... Great review. 👍😎🇦🇺

      @@kenlee7954 Right now its obvious nearly impossible to find second hand parts as they are new. I think by the time you might need spare parts they will become more widely available. CF Moto are fast growing because of this bike and a couple others. Where i am in NZ, new CF Moto dealers keep popping up all the time. Just bare in mind it will feel a bit slow getting off of a Hornet 900 as its 73HP. If you're wanting to downground in terms of power, its still noticeably quicker than an SV650 or an MT07.

    My wife is 5'3" and she's looking to buy her first bike -- we both agree this suits her even better than the SV650 & MT07..!! Properly modern, extremely well specced, lightweight, easy handling with more than enough power to keep her happy for years... all at a price point that makes perfect sense to someone who doesn't want to throw a lot of cash into a beginner bike.
    The only bugbear is that there's no traction control, which a beginner like my wife would appreciate more than she would cruise control.

    They got Kawasaki engine on the 400 and 650, KTM engine on 800 and 1250. So is this bore-up version of that kawasaki 650?. Seems like well built bike. Find it hard to believe that KTM would own that much of CF Moto - I think they are a much smaller company. They have a partnership, but I haven't seen any ownership stake mentioned. I thnk you're thinking of Bajas who, to quote their press release:"gain a 49.9% stake in PTW Holding AG (the KTM group’s parent company).

      @@1990-t1j I’m super happy with it and it’s given me zero issues since I first got it. “Economy” mode is sluggish below 5500 RPM but it pulls hard above that. “Sport” mode makes you feel like your arms are getting pulled out of their sockets and I was able to keep pace with my buddy on his Triumph Street Triple RS during some hard riding. Bike is very responsive and maneuverable and handles well above an average bike in its price point.

      @guyfromboracay 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@1990-t1j happy to answer questions if it helps. Below 5500 at a high gear it tends to lug but is still plenty fast and the exhaust changes to a low and deep note as the engine builds up revs. Going at about 65mph (100kph) in sixth gear, the revs sit at around 4500, and if you want to gun it, downshifting to fifth is the best thing to do until you hit 8000 and then shift to sixth. It’s got plenty of balls in sport mode below 5500 but if you really want to ride hard with bikes from bigger, more established name brands then above 5500 is where you want to be.

    How does it compare to say a full power non-A2 (UK/EU) non-LAMS (AU/NZ) ER6n?
    Ive got a full power ER6n and would give it a go if I dropped or lost mine and needed to replace it as a new Z650 would cost a lot more than I'd get back from the insurance on my used ER6n. Looks to have the same power with 20kg less weight so should be about as fun as an MT-07 at 2/3 of the price. Dealers are a worry though. If it uses Z650 consumables that'd help a lot. NZ has CF Moto quads for farmers more than CF Moto bikes for riders like Aussie.
