Anyway, health update... I can now ride!! My balance is back. I still have a few pillion vlogs and vlogs filmed where I couldn't participate in things but as of RIGHT NOW... I think your first judgement was right, about it being a "middleweight bike". 700cc fwin, 200kg approx 75hp is right in the sweet spot for a middleweight to blast around town and maybe a twisty mountain road from time to time. Real good fun factor.

That's why I have my benelli 502c in my garage with my 900 street twin and my 650 interceptor had the benelli two years now done 5000 miles on it and still like it
The benelli because of the style of the bike it's a copy cat of the ducati davial not sure if that is the correct spelling lol but all three bikes have place in my heart for different reasons Kate

Hello Kate been riding bikes for 50 years, great vlogs, agree about tying up straps , seen the results , you come off , loose straps get caught in either the bike your on , or passing road debris,( in a accident) with not very nice consequences. I roll mine up , once adjusted and fix with the good old black duck tape 😊😊👍

What's the Chinese people secret for making their bikes sound so melodious ? I mean all their bikes, even the 125cc, even their 110 cc numerous Honda copy Cubs. In my country, one can buy a 17 hp 200 cc Sinnis Terrain ( labeled otherwise). Outwardly, it looks like a tiny 1250 GS But its sound IS that of the BMW ! A 200 cc that sounds like a 1250 😳...amazing ...

Well, like most Chinese products they lie about passing the regulations specs. Like the noise spec. So they make a prototype that passes the Euro noise spec, then they say "this sounds like shite, nobody will buy it" then they make some *little changes* in the exhuast can for the production bikes... Ahem. Allegedly.
This cracks me up. "Heritage". I own one of these bikes and no where in any of the literature related to this bike ( in the US ) is the word Heritage used as a descriptor of any kind. These models "officially in the US" are called the CFMoto 700 CLX and the CLX sport. That's it. But it's amazing how people can just randomly name something and other's will follow. It's a great bike by the way. Just thought I would throw that out there. Not hating on anyone LOL.
But in the UK, it does physically say Heritage on CF Motos website 😊 and I love your disclaimer, wolf doesn't wanna end up in next year's Christmas Roast haha 👹

Never mock ANY bike unless you’ve tried it, some will surprise you and some are surprising fun. Some of the best bikes I’ve ridden have been thought of as dogs. CX500 I had beck in the early 80’s was one of the best all round bikes I’ve ever owned yet people slag it off, all I’m saying is couriers didn’t ride them round the clock for nothing.
How are you getting on with the ruroc 4.0 Kate. Been looking at them but I am waiting for your review as the rest are very biased as they are usually affiliated 🤔👍
In transparency, mike and I were given one to try out, so I havent bought this myself. I've only wore it 3 times so far so hoping to do lots of miles with it before giving proper feedback. I went to the London launch of the 4.0, tried it on expecting to hate it but it is super comfy, I will give it that! A little more weight than I'm used to though. I really don't like their intercom. It's good for music (it's volume can go very high) and maps but we aren't gelling with it for comms, sound feels super delayed. So I have put my trusty cardo on it. Visor is amazing, view is huge. Just need to use it more!
@@grossi46 yes, for example, I was pilly with Mike.. he was shouting back to me, I didn't have my ear plugs in and I couldn't hear what he was saying to me, wear I normally can. However, my lid is small so the padding is next level thick!

I had a bit of issue getting my head in as the neck hole is EXTREMELY padded, but you know what they say... difficult to get on, difficult to come off 🤣 I will report truthfully on it after I get some miles done wearing it 😁 Mike wears the Mercury one in the vlog this Sunday 😊

I don’t for the life of me, understand why anyone would buy a brand new Chinese bike for just short of £6500 when you could get a 2017/2018 Yamaha XSR900 for around the same price. There really will be no comparison.
It’s been along time since Chinese stuff was cheap and nasty…. Most things in the world are made in China, and I’m sure many car and bike makers source equipment from there too.

I haven't ridden the sport but I believe it has some uprated components! I thoroughly enjoyed this bike and can't wait to ride the other.
