    Idk how many times I rewatched this, but it’s been multiple times…just to hear your son or daughter in the background. What a BEAUTIFUL sound.

    I heard it! I did 😁 I've had a small Personal Sized bible (ESV) that I was unable to use because the lettering/font was just too small. I can appreciate the 8.5 font. Text looks very clear and easy to read. Beautiful way they separate the chapters in the books. Thank you for reviewing this gorgeous bible for us. Stay blessed.

    I agree with you on the naming, I have most commonly seen personal size refer to a midsize Bible, with smaller being a compact.

    Thank you brother, thats a nice Bible. Schuyler is going to release a bible in a Spanish translation next year, si Dios quiere, so, i hope they decide to go with this same size, because it looks amazing. They have shown images of what the text will look like but the size is not yet defined. And when they do release that bible ill be watching your review if you do it. God bless you.

      AFAIK the plan is to do the new Q and PSQ format with any revisions or new translations.

      @@nobodyspecial1852 Interesting. After posting about the Spanish Bible, Schuyler posted another image saying that they chose the Schuyler Canterbury, I believe is the same as the KJV, and they are going with that design for their first Bible in Spanish.

      @@joshcastrooficial I don't have social media, so I can't keep *real* current. AFAIK the first reina valera is supposed to be full sized double column, yes, but the new ESV quentel is modified to use features from the NLT Quentel and Canterbury... so I'm not sure what really separates the *new* Quentel format from the Canterbury anymore.

    Very nice Bible

    Beautiful bible. If I could change some things, though, I'd remove the concordance and lined paper as I never use them. Also, the one design change I wish Schuyler would adopt for every Bible is to get rid of the chapter breaks completely and just use the running headers to denote the chapter number. You'd know exactly what chapter it was by the running header and the drop cap. For me, I'd also get rid of section headers too. With all that space saved, the gsm could be bumped up to maybe 32 or 36gsm and not make it any thicker. Now, that would be my perfect Bible

    • @nobodyspecial1852
      @nobodyspecial1852 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I like 40-50 gsm, even mediocre heavier paper feels better, takes bold ink better and eliminates ghosting. I wouldn't care about another 3/4" thickness.
      I don't care about concordances, maps, etcetera. I don't think any extras should be in a reader.

    I knew you weren't done with premiums! Wishful thinking or bold lie, IDK, but I knew.
    These new versions really do look good, not so much with the zippers, but that's probably what I'll get (for Christmas, assuming any are left). I never tried a zippered PSQ before because they were cramped, looks fixed now. I can't take any of my nice stuff out before bedtime, my toddler and baby will thrash them. Let us know about the page rub in a couple months.

      @@nobodyspecial1852 haha I really wanted that NLT Quentel to possibly be the last one, but I can’t do a lot of reading with the larger font. this is a much better casual reading size for my preference. Ah yeah a zippered one might sound like a good idea for your scenario, I’ve never seen one of them in person though

      @@TheBibleReviewer big page (mostly width) causing your eyes to wander? I'm picky about all that, I started with a Quentel and didn't like it, like the OG PSQ but they're a bit small, I think this is the ticket. They made it a little more lively too, a little flair in my peripheral vision keeps me from zoning out (like road hypnosis on long straight roads with no landmarks, snoozefest).

      @@TheBibleReviewer I asked because there have been several reports that the new full size ESV Quentels have faded columns in several places and I wondered if the new PSQs suffer from the same problem. I am hesitant to try my luck in getting a PSQ that might have these printing issues since EVB doesn't make it easy to return a Bible.
