When I rebound my mother-in-law's Bible (the very first Bible she ever bought and read almost thirty years ago) I took inspiration from this cover style, adding some extra leather to cover the edges to make sure it last another thirty years.
I have no Schuyler bibles. I have been tempted, but the bottom of page references are so hard for me to read. Even with my bifocals my eyes run together. Oh well. I'm very happy for you! I remember when I got my Turquoise in blue goat skin with the blue art gilt; I was over the moon! I'm sure you'll really enjoy your new Schuyler.😎
Got one of these recently (same exact translation, same exact Desert Camel). The intent is as a future replacement for an ESV Pitt Minion; larger, but still easy-for-travel, and DEFINITELY easier on the eyes (8.5-point font vs. 6.75).
The only thing I don't like about the new PSQ is it doesn't match the old and will make me feel gross when the stack ain't right..... and my name is on the covers so I'm more reticent about giving them away and starting over.
I'm glad you're starting fresh with the better format. IMO full-sized Quentel are far too floppy, I gave away my first because it was too "shifty". While I preferred the PSQ, it was a bit cramped, I'm sure the new way is better. Also I got all mine low/no yapp but got full yapp for gifting others.... they're so much better with full yapp. 🤦♂️
We’re excited for you! Blessings brother!

Wonderful!
What a stunning bible!!! ✝️

Just ordered my first this weekend. Very much looking forward to receiving it!
Hope you enjoy it!
Awesome choice for your first Schuyler Bible! I really like the look of the slightly larger PSQ redesign. I have an NIV myself.
Beautiful Bible! I purchased the NLT in saddle brown.
I love the full yapp but think I'll get one with a zipper. The old ones were too cramped in zipper format.

@@Cliff_Dixon_42 it’s a great layout for sure. I also have a Pitt and love it. But this is a much easier layout to read.
973 as of this comment. Sorry I have been slacking. School is kicking me. Love the channel brother!
@@SirDMTZ thanks bro!
I think drop caps in Psalm 119 indicating the Hebrew acrostic would be cool.
Me too!
Is the inside the same as the kjv?. I've been trying to find a video canterbury kjv desert calfskin
Im not sure, as I’ve never seen a Canterbury.

Fair enough

That’s the old PSQ? New one doesn’t have the large drop caps I thought.
Nope this is the new one.
i would love to win ESV SCHKYLUR PSQ
Is this size ideal or do you like the new PSQ without the yapp?
@@StevePolychronopolous7648 haven’t ever held the one without the yapp so I couldn’t say.
@ gotcha is this Bible ideal size wise for you?
@ it’s a pretty great size in my opinion.
@ do you like the old size Schuyler PSQ ESV as much as the alpha?
@ I’ve never handled the old size either. Sorry I’m not very helpful.
I can not find this bible.
