When Zatanna said she needs a detective, Obviously she's referring to either Bruce, Dick or Tim. However given how she's magical, my initial thought at 1st was Detective Chimp. still though, I'm looking forward to Nightwing's Arc

Yes the crazy story of the two New Gods and their sons
Essentially put... High father and Darkseid traded sons so that Apokilyps and New Genesis will not intervene with eachothers business.
This is why New Genesis never does anything about Darkseid's invasions and scemes.
So what happened to High Fathers Son thats with Darkseid? Well he becomes Mister Miracle, the best escape artist ever. Turns out Darkseid just throw him in the dungeon and he kept breaking out of it.. eventually breaking out of the planet and flee to earth with Big Barda and marrying her.
So yes... High Father raised Orion good though he does have some aggresive streaks where as Darkseid didn't even bother trying to manipulate Mister Miracle. Then again...
In this continuaty it hasn't been established that Mister miracle exists.
But in the comics... this is what happens.
So we will see if Mister Miracle and Big Barda are a thing.

All the sorcerers in this scene: from Zatanna as Doctor Fate's host, to their right is Isis, Garth and Mera of Atlantis, Traci 13, Khaled, Jason Blood, behind the bell are Phantom Stranger and Blue Devil, then Zatanna's father, Giovanni, then finally, there's Nimue/ Madame Xanadu

I really like that Young Justice tried to pull in the Milestone characters like her and Icon. That was a nice touch.

So Zatanna suggests that the only two reasons she can’t find souls would be the spirit being at peace or not being dead.
She also couldn’t find Wally.
Surely Wally isn’t at peace, so surely that means he’s alive?
She never tried to find wally and said she has no power to connect to the spirit world. That was just a trick her and Megann set up to help Artemis move on with her life

Why wouldn't Wally be at peace?
It's outright stated by Fate here that if a soul of the departed is at peace, then no magic will be able to locate them. They are beyond where mortals can tread.
The reason Zatana thought Conner wasn't at peace was because she had a vision of the Klarion Bus seeing him in the Phantom Zone, screaming for help. That this spell failed meant only one of two things could be true:
Conner was dead and his soul was at peace (Impossible due to her vision)
Conner wasn't dead, so his spirit couldn't be channeled.
I love the close captioning I got for this. Literally opened with forager saying that the green lantern ring makes fisting earth a possibility

the Nightwing arc could be the best arc in the season and i have a good theory:
in the comics Dick grayson was not the original Nightwing, in fact the Nightwing is actually the ancient kryptonian god of darkness and he always choose avatars to wield his power and lor zod was also an avatar.
my guess is that we will see the kryptonian god and zod Will try to Get the Nightwing powers for himself but Dick grayson will be the chosen one.
imagine Dick grayson with darkness manipulation powers, that would be awesome.

But unfortunately has painful as it is we can’t tell Megan yet or even Garfield look I understand what you’re going to say but we need to figure out the full details if we like I said go in headstrong blind especially with God knows how many criminals even the general himself everyone will suffer.
To be fair Mr Gibbs like I said before I want Connor back believe me but not at the expense of the entire galaxy besides the general son along with Megan‘s brother could still prove useful especially since they both might have Intel in relation to Darkside.

Do not underestimate what my brother believes and to be fair this was his childhood just as much as of mine and he trust everyone of the team members even though there has been complications because sometimes secrets can sometimes be worth it especially when it comes figuring out the situation just like when you figure out the measure of the force and magic of the universes
