I would love to see this model in the has of Kevin Talbot on TH-cam..that would be awesome!
Yes, it would be interesting to see how long this model survives in his hands.😁🚀🌙
@@PatrikJKS I've yet to see any rc car survive an episode of his intact, so that's probably not a fair test...
Yes that's true...but anyway it would be a fun even if it wouldn't be a fair test.
Love this, subscribed
Thanks 👍
Úplne super bomba😊😊😮
To je 😁
Great vid, I just started on planning to 3D print an RC car. I've been comparing Robak 2 and Targo 4/5, I'm leaning towards Robak 2 because it's 4wd, then I saw your Vid and Nomad model. Do you have any thoughts on which one is better? I'm gonna be bashing exactly how you do on your video, not the crazy flying to the moon to break stuff. I have a 3D printer now and I'm a former RC car hobbyist 10 yrs ago and would love to go back to RC hobby.
So I can't tell you exactly which one is better because I've never tried robak 2 (by the way tarmo has a completely plastic drivetrain) but what I can say is that nomad can handle much bigger jumps than in the video and I haven't seen any video of robak 2 doing any big jumps I don't want to say that someone didn't try it and just didn't film it, I just want to say that you should ask people who have robak 2 and how their jumps are. Keep in mind that the nomad is specially designed for printing from TPU 98A material, which is a very durable material, which makes it pretty tough. Wow 10 years? it's time, welcome back :)
@@PatrikJKS Thank you for the reply. I just realised you're the designer of Nomad 😅. Love the looks of Nomad, can't wait to print it. Yeah I'm excited to go back to the hobby.

It's OK. You know, I drew a line and a curve and something came out of it 😅. I will be happy if you try it and thank you.
Wooow so impressive 👍done subscribes bro
Thanks so much
What is the material cost to print this? Excl the HSP RC parts?
For printed material something around 75€ (0,7 kg TPU,1kg PETG) and for all non printed something around 297€ with a battery and a cheaper radio and 335€ with a better radio.
@@PatrikJKS i already have battery and radio gear. Would just need receiver, esc and motor. Would it scale up and down in size i wonder? Maybe traxxas (diffs and gearbox) parts could get this upto 6/8S power
@@EVMYT good, so without battery and radio it is around €225.
Scaling will not work the best, it would be ideal to rebuild the complete chassis to fit the new drivetrain (traxxas) and also change other parameters for more performance because 6/8s is a lot of power + other things around. so it's a lot of work around that...
How durable has this been?
I did a few really bad landings and nothing has broke, so it's pretty durable.
Have u manage to break it yet
Still nothing from the 3D printed parts, from the metal parts I broke the wheel's hex pins three times and bent one bolt, but that's normal. 😅
thats good but have u send it to the moon off big skate ramps tho im getting a 3d printer as im always breaking my ramraider and buying parts i bet i would of saved money with 3d printing parts for it
@@Lawn_Care_Lounge_tv_uk Nothing like Kevin Talbot style 🚀🌙😁, just regular 5-7 meter jumps on a 2S battery. So yes, the TPU98A material is quite hard and flexible and basically unbreakable.
