- I had this idea randomly come to me, so I started this project which ended up taking shy of a month. I'll also put the CAD files up on thingiverse for those who are interested in recreating this thing.
Thanks for watching :) - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
this is lowkey sick keep it up
5:17.....I would thread the input shaft and tap the primary gear so it screws on. Or Flatten a small portion of the input shaft, drill a hole in the gear and use a screw/bolt to secure the gear to the shaft.
that's a good idea, I'll try it out if an opportunity presents itself in the future. Thanks!
Add a diff and suspension and it's a runner!!🏎️💨🏁👍
GOOD EFFORT
that's so cool keep this up, i always wanted to do something like tis but i don't have enough knowledge in 3d design mabe some day
I'm your 172nd subscriber, your content was awesome, I look forward to more and hope to see you grow into a huge channel. Keep it up man!
This means so much to me! Thank you for your kind words and support
279!!! Wow underated
If you print the entire wheel out of tpu (with some springy structure inside) you can probably get a bit of shock absorption. Won’t have as much grip as the Lego ones though so there’s that.
This has to go viral
Very epic video ❤
Subbed ❤️☺️
Thank you!
You could also stick your tires to avoid that there is a new source of sleeping and you will therefore go faster, it is not very stable at high speeds so try to put a bodywork on it to remove the disturbances due to the wind
This is awesome! I actually have a 3d printed rc car myself, I completely designed it too. Although the diff is not 3d printed due to the stress it'll under go. I post shorts about it on my channel (this profile) I'm currently in the works of making a main video about it so I'll come out soon. My car is rock crawler really, it's got full suspension and a 2 speed transmission. Good luck on continuing this project, I'd hope it'll contine
Just watched one of your shorts. Cool stuff man!
To do a bit of rc, try to have the least caster angle you will have more grip on your front tires and you will turn better, so you will have a more predictable car and therefore less chance of crashing
DIFERENCIAL WILL IMPROVE THE HANDLING. BRUSHLESS MOTOR LIKE A CHEAP A2112 9T FOR SPEED, AND A NARROW REAR END.
THANK YOU FOR THE IDEA! lol
Helical gears can output more power since the contact surface is greater than the ordinary ones
what motor you using for this?
Neat little car, wonder how hard it would be to convert something like this to 4 wheel drive 🤔
Probably would take a complete redesign I guess
It would be super interesting, The biggest problem would be the small size of the car it's only 20cm long, however, maybe in a future version I'll attempt something like this, great suggestion 👍
@@hamburgerinc6995 yeah would take quite a bit of redesign but is a project I’d like to eventually work on. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to
You can just put a shaft to go through the middle of the car and use dog bones on the front axle
@@CENREAPER-YT also gonna want a front diff though and gonna want to move the motor and potentially add a rear diff too.
Although it'll be difficult, there is a way. like live axle suspension, I use it on my truck. I post videos about my truck on my channel if your curious to see it
If you don't want it to spin out too much, you should add a diff.
good point, especially when taking tight corners, the wheels tended to slip a lot.
Make it longer to prevent it from turning around while speeding
Use foam instead of rubber, it'll have a greater contact surface since it's softer
I can make a palm sized one that will go 3 times faster (at least).
If you don't make the wing properly, it'll ruin the top speed
