Aside from an unfortunate mishap, Kyle had another great day of rifle hunting in the mountains. He located some good buck sign and has tracking snow in the forecast! LET'S GO!!

My Dad and grandfather both made a switch from lever actions to that Woodsmaster back in the 80's and the pair of them harvested a fair share of deer. Once a local gunsmith reluctantly fixed a broken extractor in the early 90's my dad retired the gun. We now have two of them in the safe still shoot fine. At least you had the backup iron sights so your day could go on even with a rattled scope.

Love to hear it! Thanks for the story Stephen. This was my Grandfather’s gun passed down to me so it has a special place in my heart and has taken many bucks over the years. My dad was telling my brother to stop walking on the ice build up on the 2-track we
Were walking…
My brother didn’t allows like to listen… Even if he knew it was good advice.
About 60 seconds later he was break dancing on the ice and ended up in a pile on the ground.. gun slammed down.. he slammed down.. lol…

I had a checkered red/black jacket and pants by Woolrich and now have my Johnson Mills checkered green/black jacket and green wool pants! Can’t beat them….
