This year the birds are everywhere and there’s more than you can shoot in the last 30 minutes of light. We went today again limit in 15 plus 5 bonus collard. We saw twice as many after shooting light. Which here in Itah used to be a half hour before and after but now it’s at sundown officially.. boo!! We’re up to 127 birds for the season but we go 3-5 nights a week to several spots. We cook em the same and I have a killer sauce!
No offense but he was setup to shoot the birds as no more than 15 yards. Pretty easy shots are credit to his great setup. But, it was a great hunt, video and he definitely shoots better than most. I remember a hunt long ago, I was with a guy who shot 5 boxes and came home with one dove....that was one expensive bird.
I went solo dove hunting for the first time this year, 95 out, limited in about an hour after 90 shells. 😂😂 so if you could miss a hand full of shots, that’d be fantastic.
Seek cooking wild game lessons. I marinated them in Italian salad dressing, add a sliced jalapeño, let 3:50 them sit overnight. Wrap them in bacon, skewered, and offset smoke them in mesquite. Try it, you will be amazed

This is a very cheap over under but I really like them. Especially for doves, so your shells don’t eject all over.

I have us3d Korean BBQ sauce for short ribs and a spicy bbq sauce as marinate. So good!
