Not a bad start to the trip! Those Maine deer will take you miles into the thick stuff. Glad you got a glimpse of the one you were tracking.
Thanks man! They sure will… Just have to be persistent and keep after ‘em!
Great start to the mini series! Excited to see the next episode, always an enjoyable watch!

Hey buddy !
Nice to see you again ! Mike from coaticook ! Nice video my friend ! 🦌 👍
Thanks Mike!
Nice job as always Kyle.... It's a dream of mine too get up that way after my boys get some time here in Michigan and they "think" they have it all figured out lol
Thanks Norman! Haha, sounds like a plan! It sure can be humbling but it's a great experience. No doubt it's not for everyone! From what I hear, the UP area seems similar to the Northeast as far as weather conditions and some tracking opportunities. Your boys are lucky to have you show them the ropes and build their knowledge base over the years!
@@WanderingWhitetails you are correct about the U.P. and even a few spots in the Northern lower... But as all things change so does the landscape... Michigan is getting smaller even from when I was in my teens... We didn't have the ATV traffic and SXS weren't really a thing but now it's a joke, I have a hard time getting my pick-up down a fire/ log road due to how narrow and rutted they've become, but it adds to the adventure... Oh and believe me, I have a few good recipes for humble pie I can share with them boys as they get older 😉
This is cool Kyle! I've done this and it ain't easy, it's so hard being quiet and stealthy. Can't wait to see how it all works out!
Thanks William! Tracking definitely is an extremely challenging but rewarding way to hunt! Many of us live for it up here in the Northeast. Thanks for following along!
@@WanderingWhitetails we didn't even get so much as a frost this year during Black power or gun, I love hunting when there's snow but none. I managed all my limits from ground blinds sitting lol.
@@williamgoswick4392Ah bummer! Those snow days are definitely special... nothing like that blanket of white as a nice backdrop to see the deer against! Hey, nothing wrong with sitting and waiting them out! Congrats on filling your tags, that's something to be proud of and it sure is great to have a freezer full of venison to carry you over until next season!
Jacket brand?
Johnson Woolen Mills made right here in Johnson, Vermont. This one was my late father’s from the ‘70s I believe. Quality stuff and nothing better for tracking than wool!
@@WanderingWhitetails Merci! Thank you for your reply.
@@huguesnadeau6051 De rien Hugues! No problem, thanks for watching and dropping a comment!
