This is amazing! I’m from IvoryCoast, I have a lot of Nigerians friends but whenever I ask them about Nigeria they only have negative things to say, they almost make it sound like they escaped a battlefield or something. I have always wanted to come visit Nigeria and most certainly will regardless of the negative exaggerations I hear about it. Just like everywhere in Africa I’m sure Nigeria has its own problems but as long as you make a good living I bet it must be great to live there.

You've said it all. Nigeria is a fantastic place to live in with a lot of states that offer completely different things. There are so many things going on positively here in Nigeria i wish I could start naming them but for some reasons we've chosen to amplify the bad side more. It is quite a lot when majority of the population aren’t even among middle class not even close to upper middle class this will only be for the 1% and sadly housing is becoming more expensive as Naira can’t compete in this world market inflation will eat Naira away. I wonder what the future would look like for Nigerians if big investors and innovators start making large scale plans without including the lower middle class.

As an American 2.4 million for this will not fly! We would expect high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, and a gourmet kitchen just for starters. In NYC one of the most expensive cities in the U.S. at that price you can get much more. You can't even say you are paying for the views bc they aren't even spectacular. This is a hard pass!!

The question is the amount of space plus this price is speculative cause this area is developing and Lagos Prognosed to superseed NY in population soon. When NY is stagnant Lagos will grow for the mid of 21th century its expected the city surpasses the 40 Mio mark.

They should charge 500K. People will not pay 2M for a place in the middle of nowhere no matter what the master plan is. If they pay 2M as a speculative investment what is the upside for them? They want peole to believe the value will rise avove NYC real estate priceb ?? 🤔🤔 🤔

It is tradition in Nigeria. Well-planned and rightly developed cities in Nigeria take time to materialize. Abuja for example was like that at inception. Even in the early 1990s when the Nigerian Seat of government was moved to Abuja from Lagos, the development rate then was slow and different from what we have there today. Eko Atlantic is a reclaimed land from the sea. Construction engineers might be able to convince you that building on such land requires caution, time and serious investment. The developers are on track.

Africans gladly sell their souls to materialism and the illusions of "development" (which in actuality should be called "westernization"). This kolonial mentality is actually the biggest obstacle to your development. You're addicted to everything that is incompatible with your natural existence. That's why you wear a fake western hair, fake western make up, you speak fake western accent, show a fake version of yourself on social media, etc.
May God help you to be authentic one day because I look at you and see directly through your spirit. You would have been an amazing person if not for the externally induced "modernization" fakery. The sooner you wake up, the better you understand this truth

Another key point for me is sustainability; how eco friendly are these developments. For instance, I noticed duvets on the beds meaning that the rooms will be very cool. While that is true, I'm not sure that there's literally a price increase as you move up each floor. What I think is that the building will be divided into sections; e.g. a 20 storey high-rise may be split into 3, or 4 sections, 1st-5th floor, 6th-10th floor, 11th-15th floor, 16th-20th floor, and a penthouse (the topmost floor) if available.
Then the price will increase as you go higher, based on those sections and number of bedrooms of course.
However, this is what I feel though. Any realtor/expert can give more info.

This is nice 👍, but the apartments are way too over priced…They are building the city for foreigners and not for Nigerians…it will be sad that the properties will be abandoned and unoccupied if the prices are not reasonable. With $2,400,000, you will buy about nice 10 four bedroom homes here in Maryland USA (you have 30 years to pay it off)…and use that to build generational wealth! The price of one apartment should not exceed $30,000 (this is even high) if check the economy situation and income per capita in Nigerian

You may not be able to stay in Azuri Towers (it’s still under construction anyways), but if you want to stay in Eko Atlantic, you can get an Airbnb in the Pearl Towers. I think you will enjoy the Radisson much better though (or you can always try the Eko Signature at Eko Hotels and Suites). Have fun! 🥳

Africans gladly sell their souls to materialism and the illusions of "development" (which in actuality should be called "westernization"). This kolonial mentality is the biggest obstacle to your true development. You're addicted to everything that is incompatible with your natural existence.
