    Love your broll and potential compositional views then you show the final shots. Really helps to visualize and see how you see.

    Stunning photographs and excellent video quality. What is the filter called you were using?

    • @aows
      @aows  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Austin! Thanks a lot. It's an ND filter, I use Lee filters but you can find plenty of other brands. You can even use welding glass for this :)

    Would the 6300 be much better than the 6000?

    • @aows
      @aows  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure about the a6300. I have the a6500 and it performs pretty much the same as the a6000 for photography. It has a different button layout, better ergonomics, it's better for video, so it all comes down to how you want to use it.

    Hi, may I know any standard settings on a6000 during the long exposure?

    Hi, would you mind to share the location of the last photo you took in Arcachon Bay without all the background. Many thanks. L.

    Eso es territorio del fotógrafo Jonathan Christley ,embajador de filtros Lee entre otras cosas .Aunque una vez creo que falló con unos filtros degradados niebla......Mañana te sigo contando cosas ,que no me dejan terminar de ver el video....

    • @aows
      @aows  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tendre que buscarlo! El sitio tiene mucho potencial, lastima no haber podido ir otra vez al menos. Lo de los filtros de niebla es algo que habia visto antes pero nunca vi a nadie usarlos. Interesante. Jaja, la familia lo primero!

    Not complaining but seems like you are slowly moving away from film photography. What photographer were you accused of ripping off?

    • @aows
      @aows  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Michael Kenna :) He definitely has long exposures like the ones I took here.
      I shot film exclusively for a year, as of right now I just shoot whatever it's more convenient depending on the situation. In this video, the 80mm lens wasn't going to cut it so that's why I used digital. I'm definitely still shooting film and will keep shooting it, but not exclusively anymore :)

    • @thomaspopple2291
      @thomaspopple2291 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@aows I thought Kenna. Nice homage to his work. Too bad any long exposure with a minimalistic theme gets compared to this or that photographer. Shoot what you like is what I say

  • @MichaelZieschang

    The last comments whirl in my brain and I really can’t get the point. This is such a rubbish but anyway, my first thought when I heard the background tune:
    Did you accidentally meet Thomas Heaton there ?
    😉😂😉

    • @aows
      @aows  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did not lol, why? Has he used it before?

    • @MichaelZieschang
      @MichaelZieschang 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I mean he uses the tube regularly in his vlogs 😂

    • @aows
      @aows  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MichaelZieschang oh, s**t! Is that right? You know what, I hesitated for a bit because it sounded so familiar I thought I'd used it before, but now that you say that, it's probably from Heaton's videos! That's awesome, on a video where I was accused of ripping off a photographer, I used a song that a popular photographer here on youtube uses regularly 😂😅

      😂😂😂😂😂😂
      Makes my day.
      Keep up your great work. I‘m really looking forward for your long exposures. Once upon a time there used to be a photo theme on Google+ scheduled on mondays called #minimalmonday that was my start into big pictures with very ‚little‘ content. But nowadays I‘m much more productive in capturing streetscenes than setting up my tripod 😉
      Therefor I use your images to keep hooked on minimalistic compositions.

    • @aows
      @aows  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can see that, the tripod can get really annoying. I tend to use it only for these long exposures or with my film camera, otherwise ill shot handheld 😊

    5 minute video stretched to 17 plus !, info re camera settings filters would have been informative.

    • @aows
      @aows  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The longer, the better ;) The filters are Lee ND filters (you can find more info on my website), camera settings don't matter I just adjust them to get the shutter speed I wanted for these long exposures (around 1-2 minutes each).
