Chasing STRIPER BOILS at Lake Pleasant!

- We had a few hours this morning at my least favorite AZ lake, Lake Pleasant. We went to go chase these striper boils I've been hearing about and had an absolute blast! Caught some good ones and missed an absolute giant. Summer is here and the fishing is turning on everywhere.. Thanks a bunch for watching!

Hey man, I dont get it, I don't know where I'm going wrong, I have my own rig, active target, using spoons and havent had any luck whatsoever, ive been hitting pleasant up @ 530 once a week, I'm glad you are having success!
@@Rabbid87 this video was taken around May 20 and the striper were aggressively busting Shad at the surface for hours every morning in fireman’s cove for a couple weeks. Haven’t seen them doing that since then! I’m no expert with striper and I don’t have active target but if I’ve ever caught them I spent a lot of time finding them on 2d first. I’ve caught them around the dam, in honeymoon cove, and fireman’s cove. Again I’m no striper expert this was just right place at the right time! Good luck out there
Nice fishing brotha! Pro tip when loading your boat. Don’t reverse trailer too deep into the water. For my single axel trailer I put the trailer in and leave 2-3” of my fender well out of the water. It exposed my bunks so I drive onto them and the back of the boat won’t float around while I’m winching it. Just thought I share a tip w you. Keep up the great content mane 💯
Hell yeah thanks bro! My winch sucks so when the boat isn’t floating I have to lift the boat with my back while cranking it on so I gotta find that balance for sure. Most of the time when I drive off it ends up crooked like it did in this video and I gotta come rock it back on straight 😂 thanks for the tip bro

What lures are you using?
This day I caught them on a reaction innovations vixen which is just a big walking bait. Then I caught the bass on an Underspin with a 3.5” largo Shad on it
What part of the lake are you finding the boils. I was up there last week and didn't see any boils.
This was up by fireman’s cove and into castle creek.. they’re not boiling in those areas anymore though this was like early/mid May and shortly after this trip we couldn’t find them here anymore. I would check over in two cows cove or maybe on the east side of the lake like honeymoon cove
