@ my car got broken into 3 years ago when I parked on 107th ave to walk in.. other than that never had an issue parking at PIR or tres rios. When it’s warm there’s definitely rattle snakes and right now there’s people duck hunting. I’ve never had a problem though

@@johnreyes946 at asu research park there’s a bunch of parking but I usually just park on the street next to the north pond. I’ve also parked in some of those office parking lots by the middle and south pond and never had trouble

@@ryantherk this video was shot back in mid June I believe it was an old one I had ready. But if I went today I would fish very similar to how I did this day. Look for a shallow bite at first light and then again middle of the day when it’s warming up. If you can’t find them shallow bounce a jig or a dropshot on some rocks and you should find them! The fish at Bartlett are really aggressive

@@Epicjfp it’s day by day man that lake can humble you! I go in the morning and fish until about 1 normally and usually crush them at sag but yesterday was a rough one for sure

@@Epicjfp that lake is hit our miss. Usually it’s a hit for me. They were right on the banks in coves that had grass.

It was a couple different kinds.. the one in the thumbnail is a persuader and I was also throwing a precision buzz bait and a megabass one at the end

@@Fishyfishyfish-x5f these Arizona catfish love lures! I’ve caught them on cranks, drop shot, jigs, swimbaits, and even a Spinnerbait before lol

@@TheMrplayitsafe yeah they do you can feel them down there rolling most of the time! Caught this one in 2ft of water and he came splashing up as soon as I set the hook so I knew almost right away

@@DeejFishes what would you recommend throwing at Sarguro, Canyon and Apache, mainly shoreline, possibly yaking? I believe these are closest large lakes to me

@@mikesouthworth1999 at those lakes you can’t go wrong with a drop shot! At sag I throw 6” 5150s in papa punisher, at canyon I throw 4.5” Oxblood worms, and at Apache they’ll eat whatever especially if it has chartreuse in it. Jigs and sleeper craws are great too and crank baits but you wouldn’t want to crank from shore but in a yak you definitely can. Wherever you throw a crank bait it needs to be hitting bottom. Hope that helps!

@@wellsjdan all depends on the technique honestly but for the buzzbait and most of my topwaters I run straight braid, 30-50lb test depending on the cover and all. For the Spinnerbait I was running 20lb braid to a 12lb flurocarbon leader

@@nicholasromeo9962 I use a GoPro behind for the rear view and the camera up front is an insta360. They both overheat there’s no avoiding that out here in the summer.. I normally drape a wet rag over the cameras while I’m not using them and that keeps them cool! If they do overheat I’ll take them off the mount and wrap them in a wet rag under my seat and after 5 minutes they’re good

@@AnglingWithTomI started using a few of their soft plastics like 3 years ago but never bought anything else from them until I got these spinnerbaits and they are quickly becoming my favorite! Perfect size, blades and wire are nice and thin.. really good baits for sure

This tournament was the championship so you had to qualify through the season tournaments.. there are a bunch of regular season tournaments that anyone can fish though!

I got 4th day 1 and then slipped to 8 on day 2 due to some lost fish!

@@jacobtrimble5149 yeah this was a challenge. I found a video on TH-cam and basically fed the transducer line through a rod sock and then zip tied just the rod sock (so there’s no pressure on the wire) to a bar on the terrova mount.. then you have a fixed amount of wire left so you don’t have to worry about it getting tangled in your prop. Then I wrapped the wire in the rod sock around the shaft of the terrova 3 times and zip tied it one more time. Wrapping it around gives you enough slack so the motor can move freely. Hope that makes sense. It’s worked great for over a year but now the rod sock is falling apart so I have to redo it. I’ll try to find the link for the video because this took me forever to find a good way to set it up.

@@saucedaguero3067 I only caught two little dinks that weighed about a quarter pound each today lol some guys caught some good ones though a couple 4 pounders and a lot of 2-3 pounders! Throw the drop shot out there morning dawn with chartreuse tail they eat it up usually

@@Codename_toadz it’s growing on me after the weekend I had there.. I just haven’t given it enough time. It’s so far and there are so many closer lakes I can catch giants at without worry about trees constantly lol but like I said I’ll be giving it some more time going forward

@@dustinsfishing1420 man pleasant is not my strongest lake but if I went today I’d check out all the coves on the north end of the lake.. I imagine they’re shallow so if they are a jerkbait, fluke, jig, wacky rig have all caught them there for me!
