I like to listen to Mayaka Nakagawa's play I like, Specially the way she touchs the every piano notes with a siginifigant care. I think She feels the music for sure. That makes me comfort and make my mind happy. I wish I will play like that someday. Thanks for her playing :)
May I ask about the pedal issue, coz my teacher told me it’s not necessary to follow the piano sheet for the use of pedal but just change the pedal when the voice being messed up , is it true ?
Keep in mind that the instrument this was composed for also differs greatly from the modern grand piano. This is a common argument to use your ear and translate pedal indications to the composer's underlying intentions.
No that's not true. Pedal is to give the sustain effect and to clean up the sound from chord progression to chord progression. Otherwise you will have a muddy mess.
Following the piano music for when to lift up the pedal is for beginners when you don't know when to lift up the pedal. Once you go beyond being a beginner, it comes natural. You don't even think about it.
She makes the Yamaha sing alright- so glad not everybody plays the Steinway Model D. There is place for different piano timbres and the Yamaha sounds just fine to me
I accidentally typed in 26 instead of op 25, and I’m happily brought here
どんまい玄米白石麻衣!!!
Beautiful performance... I like that she did not do the repeats in various places, around 6 min is a perfect length.
So amazing, learning this piece right now and I have frequently been coming back to this to help my playing. Thank you mayaka nakagawa.
Me too!
My favorite polonaise and she nails every note. Bravo. ❤️

Don't wish, practice
In this Chopin masterpiece the mood is alesys Subjunctive
I checked the music and it seems like she skipped 12 measures, but AMAZINGLY played!
Edit: I think it’s a cut tho
Wooba Song on my edition she didn’t do the repeat from bar 25-49 and the one from 50-65 although the repeats aren’t necessary
Flawless execution!
Wonderful interpretation
Amazing❤💗
Bravo!🥰😍
Lovely!
Beautiful ❤️
この曲が弾けたら、ちょっとしたピアニストです。それ程、芸術的にも良い曲です。

The pedal indications in the score are more like suggestions than rules, your teacher is right that you can use your ear to choose when to pedal.
Keep in mind that the instrument this was composed for also differs greatly from the modern grand piano. This is a common argument to use your ear and translate pedal indications to the composer's underlying intentions.

Cantabile! Wow!
It would be more brilliant if she used Steinway, in my opinion. But her playing is good enough!

homegirl skipped a refrain
lovely tidied and impeccable... but that's it, i guess.
