II'll add another scoop of antimatter pellets to the way-back viewer, here. The first vote for Speaker, Jeffries won. The Republicans couldn't vote on just one of their own, so Jeffries should still hold the gavel, unless Moscow Marge had him removed by now. Russpublican tactics 101: Cheat until you win.

Well, the result is proper. The conservatives reason to rule this way is NOT. They ruled not because they agreed that blacks should have a second district; they ruled this way because they believe that it is too close to the election to make changes.

There are constitutional amendments dealing with voting rights, but the racist remnants of the southern dinosaurs are still around. They create loopholes, such as felons can't vote. Then cops are all but instructed to target Blacks, bring them to justice for anything at all, instant felon, one less Black vote. Speeding, 73 in a 55? Felony, 3 years! It's that easy, and that's how it was done. Those loopholes in the amendments must be repealed and voting rights restored. Out of jail, you can vote. "Fuck with democracy, will ya? Find out!"

"find my congressional representative" might do the trick. Enter your address, and it will possibly show you to your public servants. It took a while, but I found mine. He's blue. Use the computer. It doesn't care which party you belong to. It'll tell you your district, gerrymandered or not. Louisiana's fuckery might not be over. A Federal law needs to be written to prohibit gerrymandering. Every state would need to demonstrate equal maps every 2 years or lose federal funding for infrastructure, health care, etc. And that cannot be sued to change it. It would require another law reversing it.
