This is the first firearm I have the new shooters who come out use, and it's the one I get the most questions about how to get one. My uncle, blind in one eye and failing health, tried it, loved it, bought it, shot it, enough to get a 3" group at 20 ft. He raves about it and thanks me for introducing him to it. 🍻
    +1 do recommend.

Thanks old man (I'm 51😂😂) for the video. I'm Irish living in Ireland, but I did live in california for 7 yrs and have shot lots of large calibers, 22lr is still my favorite and I shoot every day. Eley Sport 50 box here is about 9 dollars a box. 6.5 creedmore is about 3 dollars per round.

Thanks for your video. The TX 22 compact changes the landscape of 22 semi auto pistols now going forward. The look and design make it a great first gun and for accomplished shooters a great addition to your collection as well. The 13 round magazine fits flush but the TX 16 round magazine also fits although it stick out of the grip somewhat.
The cutout for a optic is ideal for older shooters who eyesight is not quite what it use to be as well. The TX 22 compact also comes with 2 `13 round magazines or 2 10 round magazines if you don't live in a free state. The price is also quite reasonable with a estimated street price of $315-350 and Taurus offers a lifetime guarantee as well.
22 LR ammo is still fairly reasonable and a pack of 325 22 lr rounds can be had for as little as $20.00 or less if you shop around on line. In comparison 325 rounds of 9mm ammo would be over $ 80.00...

I'm late to the party again, but I have the standard TX22 and absolutely love it - so does my wife. Very accurate and only 3 ammo related failures out of about 600 rounds. Unless you're in competition shooting and need a thousand dollar tricked out to the max target pistol, you can't do any better than a TX22.

My gun came with a none centered barrel (sits very low) so any suppressor added cause drag on the slide (wear marks and malfunctions). Sent back to Taurus, they put 26 round through it none suppressed (knowing already that it functioned with no suppressor, and that it only had issues when suppressed). I called after receiving the pistol back and was told that if it functions without a suppressor, they don’t care
and will not be fixing anything. I had high hopes that Taurus was starting to turn around from the terrible company they’ve known to be in the past, unfortunately they are still the same company.

I absolutely love my TX22!! It's my EDC, over my shield 9mm. Only flaw i found so far is mag cycling rounds. Apparently it's a common issue. One of the magazines doesn't cycle well. Simple fix, clean the mag. Since ive done that, i haven't had any issues. It will shoot every brand i put through it. I've had it for almost 2 years now and shoot it quite often. Hi. Do you have hiccups when you use suppressors on your TX22s please?
I've got a few TX22s. One Competition, three regulars. The Competition has quite some hiccups (feeding problems) with my DEAD AIR MASK 22 HD suppressor, while the regulars have much fewer. Sometimes the slide doesn't go all the way back. Therefore the slide goes forward without catching the rim of the round. So the slide pushes the round down instead of into the chamber.
But when I take the suppressor off, all the pistols shoot well.
