I've just received both the plunger cutters, and the formers and am about to start decorating not just one cake but 8 all together as Christmas presents for friends. It's all down to seeing this video, giving me the idea for the cake toppers. Thank you.
All I can say is WOW. Love your tutorials you make it look so easy I could watch you all night. Please keep them coming. Thanks love Marina from Newcastle Upon Tyne England. Take care x.
I have recently come across your videos and I can't stop watching them. You do amazing work and I can't wait to try all these new ideas. You talk about making this flower with gum paste, can you use fondant instead and what is the difference between the two?
Laura Bachman Gumpaste and fondant are not the same product. Gumpaste can be rolled very thin and the petals will dry hard and hold their shape. Fondant is designed to cover the cake and dries very slowly and often will not hold its shape.
Thank you for sharing and I love watching your video and not to disrespect you but if you don't have a flowers former you could cut the bottom part of a bottle of 20oz soda .
The former raises the and separates the petals so the flower looks more lifelike. You could place it in a bowl and places pieces of foam under each petal to separate them while they dry.
Amazed! You are truly fantastic! Thank you for calling me right back to answer my message! I had just placed an order with GSA for the Poinsettia flower and the veiner and was disappointed not to have received a 15% coupon. Everyone, Chef Alan Tetreault called me personally and left a message explaining that the coupon had ended earlier this year and if I need anything else to please call back. Now how many times do you get a call back from the Chef? I really appreciate that you called me, I did not answer the phone because I was watching your "Making Poinsettias with "Martellato Plunger Cutters" video...that is really wonderful! I am no longer disappointed! Thank you so much! And, by the way I love all your videos! Charli

I believe the bottom of the bottle is divided into 4 sections. The formers are divided into 5 to accomadate 5 petals.
Can you please tell me which is the best cake to make, when covering with sugarpaste? Thanks a lot for helping (:
What can I use instead of that plastic thing to leave the poinsettia dry? Thanks! ♥ your videos :)
