One of the best applications I've seen.
Thank you so much…. I’m glad you like it.
I loved how she had a lot of texture in her hair. Hopefully it stayed that way🌺
Hi dear, thank you. Her hair certainly will stay textured.
I literally just relaxed my hair yesterday and I’m so glad I didn’t leave it in long. I was so happy I still had texture
That’s great hun very good choice 👍🏽
Her hair is beautiful and you did a great job. ❤😊
Thank you.
I know for a fact perms straighten everyones hair and love that fact my hair be hard to comb tight little curls so perming it straightens my hair
Awesome!
Beautiful job!
Thank you 🤗
I miss my hairdresser (deceased). He was great at applying my relaxer. This was his method. I’ve been applying my own retouches since 2012. I’m getting older and it’s beginning to be so tiresome.
Hi there, I’m so sorry to hear about your hairdresser (my condolences). I’m sure you really do miss him. But try to find a good stylist who will care for your hair just like he would. All the best.
@@haircareataglanceThanks for your response. It’s been impossible for me to find a quality hairdresser in my area. I will have to travel 100 miles or more. It’s really bad. I’ll probably start processing the back…rinse, and then do the front. My arms get so tired.
Beautiful job
Thank you so much😊
Very detailed.... ThNk you very much. Thank you
Your most welcome 🤗
You were trained very well 👍👍

Boy, they don’t make hair dressers like you anymore. It’s a lost art that you can’t find anymore.
❤️
Sempre bons seus vídeos.
Awwe thank you 😊
Thank for tuning in
I love your relaxer process. I wish all hair stylist can be like you. Im having issues getting someone to relax my hair this way.
Is there a specific reason why you used a roller set before straightening it out?
Hey you, thank you. Roller set is very good for relaxed hair as the hair drys under a hooded dryer with indirect heat instead of blow drying which is direct heat which can cause heat damage overtime. So roller setting is always the best way to dry relaxed hair.
I also like the outcome of the roller set. It feels airy and allows you hair to have more bounce
15:55 Lol im due for a perm lol I told my mom I wanted her to perm my hair but she was like nooooooooo your getting it braided anyways lmfao so what like like my hair napy azz shit I need a perm badly lol when I get my perm we going all the way too the fucking end tight lil curls gone be straight and silky I love relaxers straightens the hair African American hair 2 a year.
Go for it hun.
I love that u don’t come through the relaxer much

I like your way of relaxing. Where are you located?
Hey dear, thank you so much. I’m in Portmore Jamaica.
@@haircareataglance oh no,I'm out of range
Me too. Soo sad
Did she base the hair
I base only her hair line. I only base clients with sensitive scalp. But if you usually base every client continue to do, not everyone applies relaxers as fast as I do so I encourage basing the entire scalp. However this Channel is about show you all how I work in the salon so if ever I’m doing a relaxer video on a sensitive scalp client you see me base her entire scalp. Thanks for your question.
Where is your salon ?
I'm in Portmore St Catherine Jamaica
You didn’t base her scalp?
I based only the hair line. Simply because her scalp is not sensitive.
@@haircareataglance My hair dresser has an applicator bottle with a liquid that she applies all the scalp to protect it from burning caused by the relaxer.
Please nobody beat me up… what was the point in the roller set just to blow dry and flat iron her hair out???
Very good question Reina. When you roller set your hair and your hair drys after removing the rollers you will be left with part marks from where the rollers were placed which allows your roots to look puffy. In some cases I would go in with medium heat on my dryer to remove the roller marks, in other cases I’ll just brush, wrap comb down. As for the flat iron part of it, it all depends on preferences, and this client like the finish she gets from the flat iron. I do too. However, Once your hair is properly dried you won’t need flat iron unless you prefer it.
What do you prefer?
I’m thinking that more needed to be trimmed.
Yes your right and I told her and she said next time she will give me the go ahead to trim more off. 👍🏽
so i was watching this in the background with the sound off, but i wanted to ask. How long did each section take?
Hey dear. Very good question. For the first application the two back sections took about 2mins each then the two front sections took about 3 minutes each, a little longer than that and of the back because at the hairline it’s best to take extra precautions to not get it on the ends of the hair that is already processed. Now for the second application when I go closer to the root, that took approximately 5mins for all 4 sections. Thanks for your question. ❤️Shaniece.
@iv3y_Lamar so if you’re able to work that fast you will have enough room to cross check your work. If not it’s ok just be careful not to get too much relaxer on the scalp or on the relaxed ends and you will be fine. And try not to go over 20mins without rinsing. Also if your slower feel free to do the back section, rinse then proceed to the top half .
@@haircareataglance yea It usually takes me 10min to do only half of my headً lol. But thank you, I usually just rinse half way through. 🎊
How can you tell the hair ready...that's processed
I don't know how you're going to apply that and work it in in 20 minutes!
Hey Tracey. It is possible.
And if this video didn’t help with that, you can let me know how better I can help.
Its nice but it would have been better to give her curls it would have been so pretty
I agree I love curls too but she always ask for the straight look. I'll keep trying to convince her lol
Not everyone wants a head full of curls. It's old fashioned. The stylist did an immaculate job from start to finish!
I was looking for more curls too. It's a little underwhelming to the style 😊
Hi' what if you hole head , is virgin hair how long the time.
Hey dear, very good question. All relaxers should have instructions as to how long the product should stay on the hair so it is always best to read carefully and follow manufacturer’s guide. However I use 4 different types of relaxers and the time on them is approximately 15-20 minutes (clock starts the moment you start applying. So if your relaxing Virgin hair it’s best to apply the back half then rinse and then go to the top half. All the best !
NEVER USE A COMB!
Hey dear. I only use a comb when I want the hair to be bone straight. Otherwise I’ll just use my brush. Sometimes I’ll use a wide tooth comb but most time my brush or spatula works perfectly.
Feel free to share your techniques?
@@haircareataglance it’s a chemical process. It will relax on its own timing. Combing can cause breakage. Once it is completely applied, let it process according to the texture.
@@haircareataglance thanks for your openness.
