Sometimes Tottenham could really put on a show - but they were never consistently competitive until the following season - 2005/6 when our great Martin Jol settled in. COYS 😊

On our day we can beat anyone, on other days we can lose to anyone. The Martin Jol era was good. COYS

absolutely. 2005-2006 was the first season when we were a proper team since the Terry Venables era

@@Scott1433 Yes I agree, this was the beginning when we started to compete higher in the table with a better team and squad under us

Agree with all the comments here. We remember how it was before under Ardiles, Gross, Francis and Graham. Relegation battles, finishing mid table. Even my hero Hoddle couldn't work his magic. Jol was a breath of fresh air treated diabolically at the end though. Remember watching a Eufa match on tv when the presenter mentioned rumours he was sacked. They couldn't even wait until after the match. We still love him though! 👍🏾

No problem, I’m glad you enjoyed it. Great finish for the goal by Andy Reid, shame he didn’t go on to score more goals. COYS

In ten years time , will Spurs fans be looking back at the 2021-2031 decade , and say those were renaissance years for THFC , when the cockerels FINALLY started filling up the trophy cupboard in the new Stadium , with something more than awards for the actual stadium itself ?!!!!!

The ambition starts from the owners and there is no ambition there. They are running spurs as a business, they are not interested in buying world class players to compete with the big boys. Building a new stadium is only for ENIC to use it as a business, football, NFL, boxing and concerts.
I can’t see us win trophies any time soon to fill that trophy cabinet up

@@supertottenhamtv - I agree wholeheartedly with everything you have mentioned .I pity the (other ) Spurs supporters who work so hard , so that they can afford their season tickets to see a once proud club , being run in such a selfish fashion , not for the love of the beautiful game .Me thinks it's time for a change of management AND owners

@@dovidell I agree with you, we were such a proud club and now it has been run to the ground. So sad that the beautiful game doesn’t matter to our owners. I agree it’s time for a change with manager and owners but I can’t see them selling up as they are making to much money to sell up

Ive been a spurs fan 20 odd years. Never felt more down than this. At least under ramos you had the promise of keane, berbatov, defoe running some goals in. This is not spurs i am watching. The manager has to go. A lot of the players have to go. Levy should probably go.

I agree it’s not a good time being a spurs fan at the moment. The owners don’t care about the football, their best interests are organising other events like NFL, boxing, concerts and Spurs are coming last. This team needed a rebuild when Poch was here and they haven’t done that so the team is dead, Kane wants to leave and I don’t blame him.
I think the owners need to sell up and give someone else a chance to take us to the next level and some of these players to have to go too as they are not good enough.
