Could You Last Your Whole Vacation Only Packing DIY Items?

As someone who has the paranoid fear that everyone else can spot sewing mistakes a mile off, wearing my makes in public has always been really daunting. What better remedy than to leave all of my ready to wear clothes over a thousand miles away while I go on Holiday with a suitcase filled only with clothes I'd made myself?
Will I ever go on holiday or wear handmade clothes again?

I accidentally did something similar last year on a 4-day trip to Louisiana, USA in the summer. 3 of the 4 days featured a handmade item because it's surprisingly hard to find flowy cotton clothes that look flattering on my shape. Also I wisely packed a wool medieval hood (my only warm clothing that takes almost no space in my luggage) in case the air conditioning was too cold and it saved me a lot of discomfort on that trip.

It's coming. It was on my old phone so I'm doing my best to polish it but the aim is that it's up by the end of the week.

​@@TheUnevenStitch oh well I just always pack more options for my makes. Like a pair of pants that goes with all your diy tops and so on. Because I often find myself bringing my makes but they don't necessarily go well together. That's what I learned. 😅

@asurya8797 i only decided that's what I was going to do a few days before so I didn't have time to plan it that well. Half of the things I packed I panic sewed in a day or two 🫣
