      That is such a lovely thing to read. Thank you. The holiday was fabulous. I actually only packed garments I made...it was an experience 😅

    The simplicity is lovely... but I require pockets for a bottom garment to be of any use to me.
    Perhaps patch pockets with a velcro closure so they could be worn as a bathing suit cover up, and my stuff would stay in the pockets when I took it off. Hmmm...

      I had considered that too but ultimately I ran out of time to fully investigate. I'd be interested to hear if you try it out though!

    Watching you made this much more desirable than any of the patterns I've seen. Great work! Thanks! Hope you're enjoying your holiday! 🎉👍🏾

      Thank you! Most of the credit has to go the rolled hem foot. I think I'd still be sewing it now if I didn't have it!

    This was great, especially since I'd like something similar myself (though for me I'd make an elasticated waistband instead of the ties, but that's personal preference and knowing that the ties would bother me). Out of curiosity, roughly how much of the fabric did you end up using? was it all 4 meters or nearly so?

    • @TheUnevenStitch
      @TheUnevenStitch  ปีที่แล้ว

      Elastic would be a good shout but I've done that a lot in my last few makes and wanted something a little different.
      I used just under 2m in the end. I made a few matching tops and still have just under a metre left which I'm not sure what to do with yet.

      @@TheUnevenStitch awesome, thanks! It helps to have a ballpark feel for maybe what I would need in terms of fabric to figure out a version of my own, so I appreciate it.
      The version with the ties looks great and I have friends who would love that aspect so really I'm also filing that away as maybe a gift for one of them after testing it out with the elasticated version for myself. Keep up the good work, I hope you had/have a lovely holiday!
