The clothes have been piling up on my yoga mat, and it's a sight for sore eyes, so it's time to organize and spring clean! I also wanted to pull out my sewing machine to alter some clothes I thrifted a while ago!

Hey! The thing with which you can pull the thread trough the needle is right there beside the needle. If you pull that whitehandle downwards and a bit forward it will make a loop through the needle and you just place the thread there and it pulls it through on its own. Hope that helps😊
It took me like 10 years to learn that my machine had a needle threader hahahaha Came to comment the same thing :)

Before you thread the needle, there’s a little hook above the needle that you put the thread behind. It helps so the needle doesn’t unthread while sewing! Just a little a tip ❤

It seems the blocked neutral top has a stretchy fabric, which means you need a needle for jersey (stretch). If you sew it with a regular needle you get the ruffling effect. Which i think looks cute on some pieces. That might be the issue. Same as for denim you need a denim needle, so it doesn't break as easily. Hope this helps 🙂

Above the needle there’s a little hook you tuck the thread behind and that’ll stop it coming unthreaded so easily. It’ll also help your tension 😊 the clothes swap looks really fun!

Just stumbled upon this video. This is my current state in my room too. I went to a clothing swap in January and I already need to clean my closet out. This was filmed and edited so well I felt like I was watching a movie or something. Now I need to get to my alterations upcycle pile ... well it's a bin and several bags. ❤
I love this, giving clothes new life through swapping or customizing.

Just FYI from the looks of it your sewing machine has a small tool attached left from the foot holder to help you thread the needle. I have a very similar machine from singer and use it every time cos it makes it so much easier ❤
I figured out how to use it after I filmed this video xD I pull out my sewing machine once every two years and I always forget
@@apple.cheeks I also think you had it threaded incorrectly usually, before you thread it through the needle you should be tucking it behind a little arm that sits just in front in your needle

hey girlie! looks like you have a needle threader on your machine, the little white lever. super easy to use
hi! as a singer machine user, there's this 'push down' "button" that you can use to help you insert the thread inside the needle. It is very helpful ❤

Sewing stretchy fabrics is the worst! I have found a zigzag stitch to be helpful, and you don't want to stretch the fabric as you put it through. Some sort of interfacing helps too. I've been there, girl, stretchy fabrics are a journey.

I suggest you put the folded clothes/pants in a drawer like a book on the shelf. So you can look all of it in a glance when you pull, no need to rummage.

the trick i use to thread the needle is to cut the end of the thread at an angle. works most of the time, except when the needle itself is tricksy

I'm sure someone has mentioned, but the sewing machine has a little tab near the needle for threading the machine. It should be the little white tab on the lefthand side of the needle. 😊 I've missed your videos.

girliee i thibk your machine have the automatic threader, its the white thing, you pull it down and put your thread in between it and the needle and let it go
Just a note, on the sewing machine, above the needle, there should be something to hold the thread close so that it doesn't pull out of the needle so easily. I think I saw a little hook that you can tuck the thread into. Maybe that will help in the future?
Your sewing machine has a needle threading assist on it. They have videos about it to help you use it
