DAIZZ'S TIP:-While turmeric is fairly easy to grow, it definitely requires a certain amount of patience - especially if you grow it from rhizomes.If you’re planting sprouted rhizomes, the shoot should develop within 8-12 DAYS. Rhizomes without sprouts may take up to 25-28 DAYS to develop a shoot.
BEST TIME TO GROW TURMERIC:-Best season to plant turmeric is spring or summer when the
temperature stay above 77 F (25 C), but if you are living in tropics,
it can be planted throughout the year.

Thanks for uploading this, I greatly appreciate it.
I recently purchased some online about a month ago, because It's unavailable at our local Indian and Asian grocery stores.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure how it's going to survive since it's going to be winter here (Zone 6b in US) and the leaves have already died out.
I'm keeping it in a well drained potting mix in a container with drainage inside my house, and I have been keeping the soil moist.
I wanted to grow it for it's beautiful flowers ❤️ I am in so love with it 💓.

Hello, sometimes I mix the powder with my Milk, or Coffee. But sometimes, I drink the plain mixture, turmeric and water. I only put half a teaspoon, but I drink it everyday. :) Hope it helps you as well.

After many trials I finally got ginger to grow, in seeds tarter soil at first then transplanted. The second batch I put normal soil in the bottom and just a layer of starter soil on top and to cover the rhizomes. As that did well I did turmeric the same way and it grew!
