Edwin McCain is one artist to definitely see in concert. He puts on one hell of a show. The smaller or more intimate venue the better. This allows him to really interact with the audience. Several years ago I was fortunate to see him as the opener for Hootie & The Blowfish, in Charleston, which is in my top 3 concerts of all time.

There is such a feeling behind this song. You can tell this song means a lot to him and he really knows how to sing it to convey that emotion. Beautiful piece of music.

this version of this song is waaay better than the album version! it's a tad annoying when artists/producers feel the need to add layers of overdubs, string ensembles, synthesizers to a song that is more effective & beautiful stripped down like this (james blunt - miss America is another example of this). p.s. my wife walked down the aisle to 'could not ask for more' at our wedding in august :)
