Remember my parents buying Cracked Rearview in the mid 90's. Always loved the man's voice on the radio as a teen and it sure doesn't disappoint as an older fella.
I was working for a radio station in Chicago. Drove these guys from a sound check to their hotel before the show that night. Genuine folk, good people. They were buying tickets to go see Star Wars, offered to buy my ticket and go with them.
My dad passed away Nov of 2017. This was one of his fav songs. He wasnt always perfect but he was perfect to me. He felt bad for things he had done when we were younger. He regretted hurting my mom, but he loved this song and before he passed he made sure we knew he loved us. In the end that's all that matters and I am blessed to have a dad that showed us that. Thanks Darius for such a great song.

Got to see Darius when he opened for Lady Antebellum in 2012 in Toronto and loved it, BUT when I heard those first few guitar chords and he started singing Let Her Cry, I lost it!
