Nice test on the 2028 800 kv in limitdew I built it was 105 to 100 mph about 5 times but the hoons got hot as well motor temp was 135 on an 80 degree day so I loved this test 🙏🙏🙏

Dude I feel your pain. Road temps here in Georgia are 130+ in the summer. But the upside is we have mild winters. My favorite time to do speedruns. Can't wait to get an XLX 2! That esc took some abuse. Great video. Thanks for sharing.

Hi there, I am new to this R.C thing, and have been following the built of the arma infraction v2 for a while. I would like to thank you for inspiring me to go out and buy the arma infraction v2. Hopefully the direction of my build will be very similar or the same as what you have done. There are so many good tips and advice on your channel, that it is almost impossible to do the wrong thing. just a tip, you should try 39 39 gearing since the tyres arent actually that large,and if my 800kv and xlx2 syste in my kraton 8s exb can run 39/39 gearing im sure an infraction could also with an 1100kv, it would make it go faster ofc

Now that the XLX2 is launched, everyone is going to break their previous PB. And since you said the ESC can handle up to 500 amps, you should really try some speed runs with the limitless. I would say go with the biggest motor can that leaves enough room for 6 or 8s parallel setup, a lunatic gearing and considering how good you are at driving these monsters, I bet you ll break 160 mph. Maybe get in 170's

@@angelteamnolimit624 website says 8s max. But I think you can push 9s if you can get that configuration with a higher voltage esc. Unfortunately that won't be possible with xlx2
I see that you put the motor on the right side. I put the smaller Hobbywing motor on the left side since it fits where the the stock motor was on my Felony. Very interesting that you can swap the position of the motor with the pps mount? I have that same mount. I just might swap out my Max 5 and 1100kv motor to the XLX2 and 1100kv motor. I have a couple of those extras.

Hi , i have a 1:5 Carson dirt attack 6s buggy , i want to go 8s , can I use the xlx2 1100kv or should I use a lower kV motor? I thou about xlx2 1100kv , Hobbywing max5 800kv or the ztw 300a 620kv...i don't know if the weight of the car is relevant , it weighs 10kg .

Perfect timing, I was just going to purchase electronics for my limitless the other day but the combo I wanted was out of stock. This was my exact goal to have a 60 mph basher but also something I could change a pinion and do a 100mph without having to worry about heat. So glad the other combos out of stock.

I have a 4s kraton with a 15th tooth pinion GEAR but its in shop right now getting New input gear put in it along with THE 15th tooth pinion GEAR with a 2400kv Motor 120Esc Ada SERVO With 2 Spectrums Batterys 1s a mah Lipo 14.8 100c the other 1 is the same but a 50c Lipo Battery
Will this motor fit without the ppl Mount? I’ve got a monster x8s not the xlx2 tho but any way it’s in a felony stock motor and I melted the plugs on the motor yesterday they just came out lol

What do you think about that 1100kv with the xlx2 setup in an xmaxx? With pretty much stock everything else (weight wise)? I run an 1100kv hobbywing in it now and it keeps temp, pretty good but not as good as my 800kv. Hobbywing of course. But ya get a more speed with the 1100 with the torque still. I find it to be a good balance without gearing to the moon So do you think the castle 1100 paired with that esc could handle some bashing?. And thank you for making these videos showing us new products and your crazy awesome builds! It is appreciated
This setup is basically STAPLE for vehicles under 40lbs. Perfect for Xmaxx without having to gear to the moon

What kind of motor mount do you need to mount that motor to the arrma 6s
HOW WOULD YOU WIRE 8 cells on a 1/5 Kraton with 1100kv motor and esc combo? Castle vs hobby wing? Can both combos handle the same wiring configuration to get the most out of 8 cells with an 1100kv esc combo?
I'm having problems binding and calibrating with the AVC on... Any suggestions?

1100kv and 800kv are the exact same can size. A lot of torque just more rpm

You'd destroy the transmission. It isn't strong enough to handle this motor

Scotty. Getting ready to purchase a motor for my kraton 8s exb roller,was leaning towards the castle xlx2 1100kv combo. I'm in the process of finishing a 1/5 scale track 3 laps is just over 1 mile,and it's a fast track straight away speeds of 55mph plus. Would the 1100kv be a good choice, if so what would you suggest for gearing if I was to use the spur gear that is on it now 49 tooth I believe or should I put the 39 tooth speed gear on it.

I don't mind building for others. Unfortunately my time is valuable, if you want me to build it you will need to pay a labor fee. I feel you went the right way nothing to be worried about

Castle 2028 1100kv or the 1721 castle motor for speed?
The 1100 will be more efficient. The 1721 will be superior when at power voltage, running 6s or 4s

How are you running it at the end without the batteries in it???
Innovation RC Does discharging your batteries to 3.2v or 3.4v very slowly and charging to 4.2 slowly allow new batteries to have more capacity? Anyone can you answer this?
All it does is full cycle the battery. Should do this to every battery once a month or so so it can retain the most amount of life

I would say no to xt90. Use 6.5mm bullets or higher

Wow!!! That seems like a great road course setup!!! What are your thoughts after 6 months? Is this what you would recommend? Ultimately I would be looking to do 2 laps, late afternoon (New England temps) 2.3 miles per lap, max speed 90 to 100mph. Do you think this is doable or not? I'll happily share video from my Camaro following my Infraction with a GPS overlay from.the app I use if I can get it done (or the half lap esc overheating footage... 😃

What gear setup is in there & which servo you recommend.
I say in the video exactly my gear setup! Try and find it! It really doesn't matter for top speed what servo you go with as long as it has decent torque and preferably steel geared
Hey man, I need help. I just got the xlx2 1100kv combo and ran it in my limitless. It ran beautifully1st run then 2nd run it just cut out halfway through my pass. LEDs are normal but no throttle and no tones. Did I fry the esc??🥺
That is strange. I would first reboot the starting firmware. And relcalibrate. If your issue still persists send it into Castle for warranty repair

For a Losi DBXL-e 2.0 would you be better with the 1100kv or 800kv with this ESC considering you don’t want to run 12s?
If you do not have a 12s esc. I'd go with the 1100 and gear it in gear reduction. You'll certainly run cool and have the rpm. But you may want to gear it very low so that it won't overheat. Otherwise the 800kv may be a better suit
Can I ask how you have that setup? I have a xlx2-2028-1100 kv combo and the mmx8s 2028-800 kv combo that I was going to put in 2 more of my xmaxx. But I just bought my first aarma.... the infraction v2 . I don’t keep anything stock . I’m a big castle creations fan . Any inside information would be appreciated. Thank you either way!
Just need a bigger motor mount to put the bigger motor in the infraction! Flip the motor mount position as well and your golden
