The square sensor is the Zepp 1 and the round sensor is the Zepp 2. I bought my Zepp 2 in 2017 and found it very helpful. I would be slightly careful with any new purchases of the Zepp sensors. About 2-years ago Zepp Labs sold the business to Huami (Chinese company based in Hong Kong). Since the purchase it looks like the iOS version of the software has not been updated for 2-years and sits at version 4.4.3. The Android version saw a little bit more love. The last Android update was 09-June 2020, and that version is 4.4.5. It is too bad because it was a nice small compact training aid that provided useful information in helping improve one’s game. Back in 2017, I think I paid $149.99 (retail USD) at Dick’s Soorting goods. I would recommend the unit but understand you may not receive any support or updates. To offset that risk, try to see if you could find the unit as a discounted clearance item or,perhaps used. Sorry to ramble just wanted to share information.

While these were not explained here i did get all my other issues resolved and i did learn how to improve my under plane number so thanks alot. Terrific video.

This video is far more informative than the website. My issue, the 3d swing model, shows a red area around the impact zone at the bottom. Also, my numbers for planes are close to zero but not green, any idea why? Just used it today for the first time.

Tried to troubleshoot and all I can find is they are having problem with the most recent iOS (3 or 4 versions ago … ). Haven’t found a live person to talk to, but not giving up. Could this be another example of planned obsolescence? It is a shame as the unit worked very well and was useful when working! If anybody knows a remedy, please advise. Thank you

I have the device but lost the loader part. Have now entered 2 request on the zepp site contact form asking for help / replacement. After form is filled and sent get a popup theu will respond within 24 hours. Up to now (2 weeks) no reaction from them. This is a real problem in my mind.

@@cartersmithgolf FYI, I think in video you placed phone in front off-pocket (left front pocket, for a right-hander). To more accurately measure hip rotation, phone should be placed in front pocket of dominant hand (right-front-pocket for a righty). Food-for-thought ;-)

Yeah I get you mate. It’s pretty useful for hitting positions but golf is really about getting that little ball in the hole of which it doesn’t help at all. In these times and when the weather is poor I don’t mind putting this sort of practice in as it’s all about mechanics but stick ball flight in and that it’s hard to focus on. @@cartersmithgolf No bother Stuart, I like to see the flight of the ball to be honest, the guy near the end was saying about lengthening the back swing, I think that would knock me out a bit too, there's been quite a few top players who've had short back swings, maybe if your a beginner or pretty young and flexible it would work 😉👍 Always watch your videos Stuart, some fantastic tips and of course you're a player 👍

I tried to register with other devices but it denies me access and won't let me register since I bought it. your zip. I would kindly need to reactivate it. If you can kindly help me, I'm waiting. Notwithstanding that I've actually tried everything but it won't let me register, I've also changed my pace, it won't even let me log in with another password, if you can from your workstation it would be a welcome thing as I am a professional I use it for work I am waiting Have a good day I apologize for the errors but being Italian I used the translator have a good day

How does it know what your hips are doing when the sensor is attached to your glove?
Hi Bobby, you have to have your phone in your left pocket and it uses the gyro in it. Clever stuff and very useful.
Put your phone on your pocket. It works pretty well
I think instructions are to put phone in the front right pocket for right-handers.
