Hey Nick. Great review. I just downloaded the V1 app but it looks like you have to pay for the ability to draw on your swing videos. Am I missing something?

Have you tried any golf apps powered by A.I., for example: UpT Golf?
Thanks Nick, I downloaded it last year but didn’t feel I was getting much out of it. That tip at the end is great, will try that on my next practice. Hands are a huge problem for me.

Just a hint, the worst place you can video for sound is in a corner of a room, the best place the cheapest place is in your car or a van you can get started on the cheap like that

Trying to use the pc version. Every time I hit "Record" the screen goes black...and doesn't record anything.
Oh really, hmm not sure about that one. Maybe it might be worth checking updates on the app + pc 👍
If you use this app do you have to pay for the features that come with it including the videos?
There are some free features which you can use such as obviously your own swing and also some of the pros swings are free. If you want to unlock everything then you’d have to pay for it! 👌🏌️♂️⛳️

If you have been using this app for a while, and were satisfied with it, then why were you browsing through the app store to find something else? If it's just that you are always looking for stuff that might be better, like we do with clubs, that's perfectly fine, I think most of us do that. But if you felt you were lacking something with this tool, then that would be interesting to know.
You need to pay if you want to draw straight lines etc

Your voice is garbled. Can't understand a word you are saying. Sounds like you are using the phone mic. You should get a remote microphone so we can hear a little better. Good luck!
Your head is turned 45 degrees towards the target when your clubhead is still 3 feet away from making contact with the ball. Look at the video of Justin Rose again, you'll notice his head is still looking straight at where the ball was well AFTER the ball is gone, you start rotating your head left the instance you start the downswing. I don't know how you are even able to make the clubhead strike the ball. Yikes.
Well observed, however I know this is the case. There is no ball which you can clearly see as I’m in the back garden, and also this practice swing helps me to get through the ball. If most people tried this for themselves actually using a ball, then they would top it. But, because I know my swing inside out and what works well for me that this would help me. I bet when you do a practice swing you do something similar because there is no focus point to look at as there’s no ball 🤷♂️
But, thanks for pointing that out, for your judgmental comment by looking at just one of my videos and for missing the whole point of the video.. 👍
@@NickDoesGolf If it works for you that's good. But I can promise you I don't do that when I take practice swings. I've taken lessons at GolfTec where every swing is recorded and my head doesn't rotate towards the target until after the ball is gone. My issue is that I tend to stop rotating my body through impact and my hands and arms take over and I have a tendency to pull and hook because I get to "handsy" with my swing. I'm trying to work on my hip flexibility to improve my ability to rotate through the swing (I'm 63 and an 8 handicap). The app is a good idea though. Anything that lets you do analysis of your own swing is a great thing. I've always found I learn a lot more from watching what I am doing (right or wrong) than from watching what the pros are doing.
I did say something similar, not the exact same. It’s whatever floats your boat I guess, some people need to focus on the ball more than others, I find it easier to focus on my drill rather than getting glued to the ball which is proven in this instance. There’s no ball there so may as well focus on what I need to do within my swing which is what I did here 👆👆👆
