The best fpv video l have seen. l wish someone would make a complete system to buy which would include head tracking instead of guessing and piece meal were to buy individual componants.
Thanks for the compliment! An all inclusive system cost a pretty penny and may not be the best fit for everyone.
The head-tracking involves just two components: the head-tracker which attach to goggles, and gimbal which moves the camera in the plane. Very easy to implement for someone that flies RC planes. Here’s the complete list of FPV components if you are interested:

What an awesome build ! Your videos decided me to take the step and start the hobby xD I'll start little by little, but I want to do the same with the P40 from fms at the end... what sound system did you use ? how did you installed it, as there is little to no plca in this airframe ?
And do you have a direct render of the sound on the fpv when you fly or was it editing ?
Superb. Man that was excellent :) That reticule to give your flight path is very useful. How do you get your speed so perfect for the landing? Your FPV landings are amazing - I can do it like that LoS but FPV I would imagine is harder.
Honestly, after getting used to FPV flying, my landings are consistently better flying FPV than LOS. Don't let a few bad ones initially discourage you from trying. I see the same improvement in my friends that fly FPV as well. Their landings are consistently better in FPV than LOS.
As for how I get the speed so perfect? I let the plane "talk" to me. If I level out and the plane continue to sink toward the runway, I know I am close to landing speed. So I can gradually flare and bleed more speed. Refer to the part of this video where I talked about landing using the reticle.

Great invention! I have a same FMS Zero. Do you upgrade the motor or battery to carry FPV module? The original power is not too strong
No upgrades. Everything is stock on the Zero. Just add the FPV stuff. I have heard people using 5S battery instead for more power. The ESC is plenty big. Should handle it fine. Just check the amps. It's way underloaded with 4s battery.

Yes. Model canopies (especially ones with frames) are not clear enough to see through and fly with, unfortunately.
I want to put something like this on a quadcopter drone so a "passenger" can ride along and look around independently of what I am doing. I can't find a single video where someone has done that.

FMS zero has no adequate space for installation of sound system ,I think.

waiting for the new dji googles 2 to have backwards compatibility. head tracking seems to be on board there already as the featured avata drone rotates itself left right and the camera up down as you move your head with the new googles. so could the future be more simple for a fpv plane head tracking setup with this new googles??
Sure! Indeed DJI Goggles 2 has head-tracking built-in, if the O3 Air Unit to be released includes head-tracking signal and can be readily accessed for use with gimbal onboard aircraft then wireless head-tracking FPV would be simple to implement. I am waiting anxiously on O3 release, too!

Good question! Goggles 2 does have head-tracker built-in. But DJI does not offer function to get HT signal out from O3. So a third party Head-tracker (like the one we offer) is still required.

@@motionsic I don't know how to even begin. I was a helicopter pilot in the RAF but I got discharged with ptsd and since I had that breakdown my brain just doesn't work the same any more. I know all the information is out here on the net but I just can't work it out.
@@badhammermotorworks810 Respect for your service to country. I recommend starting with flying RC planes conventionally first. The best way is consider joining a local RC club to get some guidance. If not convenient, then ask questions at online forums on RCGroups.com.
You will need RC Transmitter, Receiver, Plug and Play plane, battery and charger. Do initial training on simulator like Realflight - this would save you money in the long run.
Once you are familiar with flying RC planes conventionally, you can add the head-tracking FPV components which consists of the following:

The head-tracker works thru the trainer function of the RC transmitter by assigning two channels to student control and the head-tracker acts as the student transmitter.
Alternatively, you can fast track to flying FPV by buying the newest DJI Avata Drone and experience flying a high performance helicopter right away. It even already comes with head-tracking built-in.

Use new firmware V2.2 on head-tracker so it no longer use magnetometer for calibration. Simply download, extract files and flash to your head-tracker in the app: github.com/dlktdr/HeadTracker/releases

Someone needs to market and sell ready-built fpv with tracker and sight rc planes like this one pronto!! I am ready to give up real life flying due to high cost and replace my flying itch with this, but do not want to build it.
I hear you. I also have 200 hrs in C172 but find the rental prices untenable, that’s why I developed this kit to easily install on RC planes. If you are not familiar with RC planes now a days, most can be assemble in a couple of hours. It would take a couple of evenings to install the head-tracking FPV kit. @@erwinchang4556 你有在我網頁上問，我也有回答。基本上 FPV 眼鏡和空端只要供電及配對後，影像傳輸就沒問題了。頭追器基本上只是裝在眼鏡上感應頭部動作，但卻是經由RC遙控器教飛功能輸入頭追訊號（兩動），控制相機雲台，直接插入那兩個收訊器伺服插槽即可。
Hello remember me from awhile ago, finally got it going ,looks awesome what your doing , i'm doing something similar in that i want to get airspeed pitot tube style on a large scale plane that i do aerobatics with headtracking, I can't find anyone doing what we are doing at this level, and you are taking it to the next level !! great job ! but i am struggling to get the data to my dji googles, closest thing i can come up with is maybe using the a FC only need it for the telemetry, do you think i can just hook up the FC to my airunit and get the data that way ?? i can't use gps as it is slow and not actual airspeed, thanks for your time, and i am currently useing a cortex for a gyro , thx for your time , keep up the great work,

You just have to be aware that your in a RC plane. or else you could get head ache 🤯 after seeing a live size person taking photo of you.. so weird..
the rules of war engagement has been changed. A quadruple propeller FPV drone use for fun now it can carry a small ordinance that used in Ukraine. what's next a small scale copy of FPV aviation jet/plane dropping a bomb.
I prefer to focus and advocate on the fun aspect of RC hobby. But if someone were to invade my homeland, I would not hesitate to employ all the skills I have in my disposal to help defend it, if it means employing skills acquired as an hobby, so be it!
