pretty sure it was in the base game so idk why it’d be cut, you should be worried about content exclusively from FES and Portable getting cut, like Orpheus Telos getting axed or Shinjiro’s social link story from FeMC’s route (hopefully that will be preserved to some extent)
Honestly, I’m glad we’ll finally get to bond with the boys as Yuki. My one fault with P3 has always been that the protagonist never felt super close with his SEES members.
It’s slightly improved in the movies, but only him bonding with Aigis and (Redacted)

@@thatoneguy5343 keep in mind Yuki did bond with the boys in the drama CDs. It can be assumed bond episodes are based on that, plus some important characters did debut in the CDs, later on having official designs and integrated to P3 official media.
@@vanessachowjiaying4423 I just wished they gave the guys altered versions of their social links from the femc route. Like who likes Kenji or the Moon arcana guy??? Nobody. Junpei and Shinjiro are better for those arcanas’ social links. I’ve accepted they won’t add femc, but they could’ve at least added aspects from her gameplay like how they’re incorporating aspects of FES into the game such as Aigis’ social link despite there being no Answer.
P3’s social links are a mixed bag. There’s some gems such as Aigis’ and the Sun’s, but there are trash like Moon and Strength. Other than faithfulness, I don’t see why they couldn’t have incorporated some of the femc social links.
@@thatoneguy5343 they kind of did add some aspects of Kotone's social links into Makoto bonding with the male members. The previous trailers showcase Akihiko making pancakes, a reference of his favourite food mentioned in his social link with Kotone. As it's a full scale remake, it's a chance for Atlus to at least make some narrative improvements to the current social links, instead of replacing/cutting off them completely.

HE'S BACK! So long have I waited for this day. The new voice sounds like a mix of old Junpei and Ryuji, and he's absolutely killing it. I also feel like I've finally gotten used to the newer younger look he has, as much as I love the old design he looked way older than he is, so this redesign makes sense. I can't fucking wait to play this game my god.

Boss: Yes.
There are very few lines that I distinctly remember from my husband's playthrough and one was the "Da-da-da-daaa! Junpei has leveled up!" line. Glad to hear its reincarnation. Now we just need Akihiko's classics and another iconic line for me was about Ken's skill level increasing.
So awesome that Zeno Robinson is going to be included in the world of the Persona franchise.

DA MAN is here! Junpei has always been one of my favourite RPG characters of all time, and after hearing Zeno Robinson as Fogado in FE Engage (a fairly Junpei-like character) I knew he'd do an amazing job.

interesting. for a few frames at 0:40, you can see that Junpei knows vile assault. In all previous versions of p3, Ken was the only party member with this skill. I wonder if he'll still have it as well, or if they'll focus more on his utility and forego giving him physical skills? also, Junpei didn't have maragi previously either. he was stuck with single target fire skills for life. It's nice to have more options, I suppose.
Considering new skills are being introduced as well as Light & Dark no longer being limited to insta-kill spells only, it's likely that the party members' skill sets are also getting a rework (pls give Yukari Wind Boost & Amp instead of her being stuck with Charmdi in Endgame 😂)

I'll be honest, I was kinda disappointed when I heard that the original VAs weren't gonna reprise their roles. But after watching a bunch of these trailers, I am so relieved to find that I also like the new voices. The old ones have a special place in my heart, but the new VAs are killing it. And so far Junpei is my favourite..

Okay am I going insane or did Junpei not have Maragi in the old P3 games... I remember Agilao being there but I don't think he ever had the multi-target spells even after you-know-what happens.
Yeah, he didn't, only Koromaru would get the Ma Agi skills, Ken also didn't have the Ma Zio skills
@@joaolima7131 I've actually always thought it strange that Ken never got the Ma-Zio spells.
But I guess it balanced out by him being another healer (and it's no weirder than PQ2 turning him into a Psy user out of literally nowhere)
the only multitarget moves he learns in the old versions are blades of fury at level 50 and vorpal blade at level seventy something.

Sounds like he’s really trying to stick close to the way vic mignona sounded which is good since that’s how junpej was first heard so it’s good to lean to that similar voice for the remake
Most of the new voice cast seems to be going for a similar portrayal as the original. The most drastic change has gotta be Akihiko (not saying it's bad, just different; Kaggy if you're reading this I love your voice but you and Liam O'Brien have two very different voice profiles and it's gonna take a little while to mentally adjust to that)

YES! They kept the baton pass feature from P5!!! Also, holy crap the line delivery is perfect and I'm glad they're giving the male members of S.E.E.S more attention like they did in P3P FeMC route.
Sort of kept it. There's been confirmation in interviews that while the turn pass still exists, your party members DON'T get the bonuses that you get in P5 meaning you'll simply switch to another teammate.
That's fine, Baton Pass's power was always in its tactical decision-making anyway. The damage buff was just a bonus.

While the cast already has big shoes to fill, I’d argue that Zeno is one of three actors (the other two being Alejandro and Dawn) who have THE biggest shoes to fill, since in his case, Vic Mignogna’s Junpei was just… incredible. Especially when it came to the scenes involving/ revolving around his relationship with Chidori. And even in future spin-offs, you can tell that he still knew what Junpei was about. But I have faith in Zeno that he’ll deliver a performance worthy of both Vic as an actor, and especially Junpei as a character.

These new voices are killing it, they sound great! I love the original VA’s so much but I'm open to these changes and I'm really enjoying everything I've heard so far in the music and VA department! Please be respectful to these actors as they see these comment and reactions, atlus thought they needed a recast to bring new life to these characters for modern audiences so they did it and they were not cheaper options as already said by Zeno (VA for Jupei) they are under union contract so that idea of them being cheap alternatives is just wrong and apparently very hurtful to the actors when they expressed their feelings from the push back of the community. I understand the disappointment and frustration but they announced this months ago, The new VA's have already said they have passion to play these characters and love the games. The change in music and VA are both providing different takes on the originals, their not meant to come in and replicate 1:1 they are trying to find a good middle ground to bring their own selves to the characters and music, I love the some of the OG cast too with Liam O'Brien and Tara Platt being some of my favorites even to this day in other works. These new actors are quality and their portrayals may be similar or different but they have shown passion at least respect them as they have emotions too.

@@Darkrai110trust me, Japan is really stubborn when it comes to recasting VAs. Often times they’ll retire or even kill off a character just because their VA died or retired. If lucky, we get an Igor where they reuse certain voice clips, but otherwise keep them silent (just compare both language options for P5 when the real Igor appears). But sometimes, if the right factors are in the right place, they have no choice but to give in and recast the VA.

You're right about two things though. Once people play the game, most of them will stop complaining about the VA's because they'll be too focused on the game. Celebrity worshipping is also toxic and should be frowned upon.

Glad to see zeno play a persona character😊. He'll do great as Junpie. Will definetly miss vic mignonas voice (he did edward elrics voice and was junpeis voice actor till he got fired) hope hes doing well miss hearing him act, but Zeno will do amazing, he does amazing as Hawks and will do amazing as Junpie so well🙂. Both characters junpei and Hawks can be dorks and tease people but can get serious when need be🙂

at 00:40 you can see skill list includes Maragi meaning Junpei now has multi-hit fire spells which he never got in OG P3 games
this is because Koromaru had the multiple fire attacks in the original but since this game will have non insta kill curse and bless skills, they decided to make Ken pure bless and Koromaru pure curse so the multi fire will go to Junpei
