Great walkthrough - thank you! The bunk bed looked complicated in pictures, but seeing you set it up & break it down clarifies how it works. NuCamp has obviously put a lot of thought into their upgrades for 2023.
Yes! It's probably actually even easier than I made it look in the video. That was my very first time figuring it out - I could be faster if I did it again :)
I really appreciate the time that you put into this video, you went into extreme detail. I feel like most videos just skip over things because it might be too time consuming or they just don't want to get their "hands dirty". Just showing what a 6'1" person would looks like in the bunk beds and then you breaking it down and then setting it up is great detail to a demonstration video.
AWESOME. The walkthrough was very well done. Thank you for getting on the bunk beds. 👏🏾 I am seriously considering getting this for the family ….small and compact.😊

Was looking at an Airstream BaseCamp 16 ...but now seriously thinking about this TAB 400 trailer (especially with the optional 4x lithium batteries). Thanks for the video!
Sorry I missed you …would have definitely said hi! If I go the teardrop route then it’s going to be a TAB 400 Boondock with the 400Ah lithium so will wait for the 2023s. Thanks for all the great info you guys put out on these trailers!
Thanks for the walkthrough. I am surprised that the bathroom/shower is not more encompassed for waterproofing, kinda like a one-piece shower. At the 4:54 mark, it shows a silicon seal bead against what appears to be wood panelling. That looks like it could be a potential problem site for water ingress. Thoughts?
Loved your review. You hit the major changes: bunk bed (did you have to bribe Kendrick?), under bed drawer, fridge, bath and battery options. We hope to see the weight specs for the BD & 400Ahr options soon. Thanks for the comprehensive tour. Richard & Kathy in Vermont.
I could probably find the weight out for you. I'll ask the nuCamp guys at the show tomorrow. And no I didn't have to bribe kendrick... he was like a little kid I couldn't keep off the bunk ;)
Wow, this is a good upgrade even for a couple. When we rented the T@B 400 that we tried out, I slept in the front and my Sweetheart slept in the back. This was a good arrangement but would be even better now the Bunk affair as it would give a larger sleeping surface in the front for me! The Lithium/Inverter upgrades etc are bang on, this is a great unit!!!!!
the only thing I like more than my 2021 is the lithium. but I really cannot complain about my AGMs and can run my AC off a small propane generator... and really, you don't want to be in a small trailer with AC anyways... you want to avoid being in conditions where you need AC and that's the mountains. also, the fridge relying on batteries is not great. I'm small so the bathroom is not a concern and I would never use the bunk so I like having a bigger table and the shelf underneath...but ohhhh, the draw under the bed as storage. I may need to figure out how to build that myself!
Just needs deep sink, electric cooker and a better door on bathroom. One other thing. A bigger freezer. Way too small. Could be above or under the fridge. Would I buy?? I would make adjustments or look for other model. But the sleeping area is good! The bunks are great opening and closing.
Very well done you two. I live about half an hour from where these are built in Sugarcreek Ohio. I have been through the plant, and was so impressive how they are built. What a beautiful area! We visit a few times a year to go to the factory and always love it. I hope you can get one and come to our rallies so we can hang out!
That's a nice review, thanks for it! That easy mounting bed in the front area resembles that third line seats in RVs, which cost a lot but almost never used
Boy those are nice and so very close but not perfect yet. Here what would make it perfect for people with kids. Get rid of upper /top shelf in sitting area and make left side cabinet with shelves go only from top of the cushions to the bottom of where the upper bunk goes. That would add so much length to upper bunk. Then keep the upper shelf but make it on hinges with magnetic catcher or other form of lock in place mechanism, so it could be pushed up against the ceiling when upper bunk is pulled up and that would add much needed width to upper sleeping area. All these shelves look pretty but small camper needs to be very practical first and pretty in second place. I would still prefer square sink because limited counter space allows us to get collapsible insert dish dryer that can be place inside the sink after washing is done to free up the counter. I am confused about the toilet though. What happen to cassette toilet with outside access? I want large cassette toilet option with side discharge that could be emptied by connector hose to dump but could be pulled out to final clean out and disinfecting. That would make the T&B 400 absolutely best, perfect small trailer on a market. I am loving idea of not having microwave. Who the heck goes camping outdoors to use microwave? That was insane to me. Thank you Mandy for detailed presentation.

Hi Mandy, we have the 400 boondock. Those sturdy handles you talk about aren't sturdy at all! I've lost two handle covers already. It's a two piece handle. The first time you want to twist your trailer to get that perfect view, those handles break some little tabs inside. Then when your driving down the road they fly off. We have been in ours for 3.5 years and have never had a problem with the handles... but I will definitely pass that along to nuCamp as I will see them again tomorrow :) Thanks for the compliment... I really want to put out more videos, its just been a very busy year for us, and maybe you can tell I'm a little picky when it comes to my editing :)

Is there still the option then I take it, to set the dinette up as just a single bed, and does that new table make that bed space bigger? I am only 4'11" and thought the 2022 had ample space for me there but bigger is better anyway! Thanks for all your great videos, we really enjoy them :-)

I love it.. but that tongue weight. I wish campers like this could be more compatible with Jeep Wranglers. It would be a perfect little set up for a Wrangler, but that tongue weight is just too high. Thanks for the great & informative video!
