We had a 2022 tab 400. In my opinion it was the finest RV on the market. When we were at the factory in April 2022 it was on the production line. Due to unforeseen circumstances we put it on consignment with the dealership we got it from. Dana had it sold within one hour. No matter what year your 400 is it’s the best on the market. Great video thanks
I like having a woman giving the tours because you start on the inside instead of the outside. A small camper like that would be good for me and my kitty to travel in. I think sink could be bigger but, it nice to have for camping.
I have been waiting for this video! Thanks, PJ! I pick up my 400 next month and we are so excited. It really seems like the only updates are the 12v fridge, and the bigger tongue box, which are both very welcome upgrades.
Thanks for another terrific review PJ! Here is my dream T@B, take the twin bed and kitchen floor plan of the 360 and offer that in the 400 length. Also add a roof rack with a Kammok Crosswing awning and bingo, room enough for all 4 dogs ( would still be tight but doable) and 2 humans 😉
The radiant heating is nice - no noise! I found that you need shade to be comfortable as the A/C and insulation won’t keep up in direct sunlight. I was at Sebastian Inlet in the summer and found there was a 20 degree difference between foot and head level and head-level was really hot. Pulling the blinds up helped but then you loose the outside feel. This was on my 2020 so maybe it’s been improved since. Great trailer!
I am so glad I have the 2023. The only thing I like about this model year is the second drawer under the fridge and the new tub in the front. I dislike the weird pattern vinyl floor, the corner sink in bathroom with no countertop, the lack of cassette window cover in the bathroom port hole, the new veneer wood, no lagun table.. well I guess it’s good that I am not lusting over the latest and greatest. I’m happy with the older model for once haha
I watched NuCamp’s video before this one, and a couple of owner walkthroughs, with no mention of two items: 1. Does the door have a screen? 2. Can the TV swing out to be seen from the dinette area? Forgive me if you covered this, but I didn’t see it, and I was watching for it.
Opens the door and I see that same small black fridge. When the new 360 has a huge one🤦🏻♀️ makes zero sense. Also why aren’t we moving to USB-C. Lastly we are like 3/4 of the way into the video and I really see no real changes from this model to the last. Bummer. Was hoping they’d stir it up.
I was hoping Nucamp would make a change on the bedding situation. We have a ‘23 and had to get our own mattress because this that is provided is not good. We are rather small people and it didn’t work. It is a full size mattress, so people be aware of that before buying bedding. Because iPod how difficult it is to make/change the bed, we went with a Beddy’s zip system. We ordered a queen and it’s 6 inches too wide so I’m tucking that back to the back all the time. If the 400 were 2 feet longer, maybe even one, I believe two could sleep comfortably without hitting your head on the ceiling. I’ve seen many, many people complain about the sleeping situation and changing it on their own. Nice walkthrough. I always enjoy your videos as they are professionally done.
I really like the layout of the 2025 tab 400. I like that it has a separate table with 2 benches. What is the msrp? I think this is a better size trailer. What is its weight? Can it be pulled with a Tacoma? Right now I have a Rav IV. I’m thinking I might need a bigger auto.
I really wish that NuCamp would design and build a larger version of the Tab400. Larger fridge, more storage, and a queen width bed. I love the quality and teardrop shape of the NuCamp. Just a bit more elbow room.
PJ I want to thank you for all the amazing walk-throughs! Your videos are always very well fed out and comprehensive. The one piece of constructive feedback I have for you is to please limit the amount of “All Rights”…they get distracting.
I enjoyed PJ walkthrough very much but since we’re bashing her speech patterns she could cut down on the “again”’s too. Again, the agains are distracting. But other than that she is great. Informative, pleasant, and not too much sales sizzle. ❤
Used 2022 are going for $40k plus. This has to be like $60K. Lots of money! I built mine for $5k and 180 hours of work and I am still complaining. lol. All worth it. Going on 2 years and have camped, boondocked about 40 times.
This trailer is too heavy for a RAV4, and it's at the very upper end of a Highlander's towing capacity, depending on the specific Highlander's configuration and equipment. We would proceed very cautiously if looking at a Highlander to tow this, and most of the time, we would advise against it as most Highlanders would be overburdened or just much too close to capacity for comfort or our recommendations for safety.
My first thought as well. If I'm traveling, chances are it's with 4 kids, so it'd be me on the bottom bunk, daughter in the top bunk, three little boys in the bed at the other end. Hubby, if he tags along, gets a cot on the floor... XD
Interior first is smart, however way too much footage of the narrator and less of the product. In addition we do not need to see every drawer start to finish, there are thousands of videos out there and anyone watching these already can figure it out period Yes the video she would have taken 10 minutes for something so small comma thanks for listening
No window screens? 😡 Adequate size bed and dinning area. 👍 Adequate shower & toilet 👍 Tall enough for an average man to stand Lite weight 👍 I like the diamond plate box for battery, LP, etc. 👍 MSRP? 🤔
Not a fan of the sterile "modern" hospital laboratory look , kinda like a morgue if you ask me . Natural tones for the nature that you are venturing into not an office cubby replication . My 2 cents for what it is worth and with this economy probably minus 10 cents by now .

Women are typically better at explaining and breaking complex concepts down. That's why most teachers are women.
@chrislane8466 What a moronic remark. There is nothing sexist about her comment.
@@chrislane8466 Don't be mad that you were called out for your woke virtue signaling.
Nice to see spacebetween stove and sink, loving the white interior!
You reviews are always so good thank you! This looks beautiful.
A Lagun table and pull-out drawers in the "pantry" would be wonderful additions to this camper.
Agree with the inside first.👍

Perfectly specific and thought out!
Always enjoy your in depth tours! Haven’t seen you cover the Tab320 for several years. Hoping that is next!!

Screens are a must for me.
It has screens that pull down from the top of the window. And there is a retractable screen door.

You must be fun at parties
It would be nice if they added dimmers to the harsh lighting
Exactly

The larger 12v fridge in the 360 should be in or an option for the 400 imo! 29:56
Always liked this rig, but I wish you could get the small under counter fridge so where the big fridge is can be used as closet space.

This is brilliant! Love it.

Stil, think a lagun table up front would be better
Im so glad this tear drop has a bathroom so you don't have to poop in the woods and get eaten by a bear.😅
Great camper! Could a Toyota RAV4 pull this or a Toyota Highlander?
This trailer is too heavy for a RAV4, and it's at the very upper end of a Highlander's towing capacity, depending on the specific Highlander's configuration and equipment. What about awnings? I’ve just started researching teardrop campers and I noticed there’s no awning or provision for one.
There are third party vendors that make awnings for many teardrop trailers.
Did they get rid of the bunk bed option?
It's still an option. Bunk size details are in the video description.
My first thought as well. If I'm traveling, chances are it's with 4 kids, so it'd be me on the bottom bunk, daughter in the top bunk, three little boys in the bed at the other end. Hubby, if he tags along, gets a cot on the floor... XD
how does this have a tiny fridge when the 2025 360 has a double this size one....LOL!
Hello what is the price of the boondock tab 400 black canyon pkg with lithium batteries ??!
What’s the price tag on that unit. I’m getting ready to retire at the end of October.
I would like to see a darker interior, in darker wood.
Need a bigger sink.
Detail list length as 10'3", narration said length was 18'3"

The only thing I don't like about this camper is that it doesn't accommodate standard conventional window AC units like the Coleman 17.
2:18 😱😱😱😱😱😱
Title should say 2025 not 24
You are correct! I typed that one out wrong!
Description still has 2024. Great video though ty!
Man, I’m having an off day over here! Thanks for the assist!
No window screens? 😡
Adequate size bed and dinning area. 👍
Adequate shower & toilet 👍

MSRP? 🤔
Did you watch the video? There are screens on all the windows-they pull down from the top!
All tabs have window screens that pull up or down and also have blackout shades and they always are shown in all the vids . PJ always shows them ..
Screens are my friend
Weekend camper
Cramped layout, we need to be over to use part of our camper for the open common area for hobbies and guests and mental health
This is why folks build their own teardrop. Don't need or want half the crap they try to sell you.
What's not wanted?
For my wife, yes wife not me, needs. Toilet, shower, and AC.
For me. Place to lay my head, cook, and out of bad weather.
Lost the bunk option…family of 4 won’t fit.
It’s an option
You can still buy them with bunks or you can buy them without them . They make them both.
Here’s the thing: I insist on ice day and night so I would have to bring a portable electric freezer/fridge to camp. No sense.
Don’t buy it then. Simple enough

NARROW 😮‼️
SEPTEMBER 2025
DON’T BUY IT!!!
They won't even list a price. Which means it's WAAAAY overpriced!!!!
All that wood! No thanks
They have multiple interior options. I prefer the light wood look over the darker gray finish that makes it look so much smaller.
