I am IMO, one of the biggest spectators/fans of college football and this game I was fortunate to watch live on TV. Top 3 College football games I have had the pleasure of watching in my life.

I have been a die hard Tennessee fan my whole life and that night I was in the stadium. Lower level about 30 yds away from where the Bama missed kick landed and I will never forget that game. The atmosphere and the emotions and being able to experience it the way I did was incredible.
It was truly incredible to be there in person for this one. After attending games for almost twenty years, experiencing all the heartbreak, ineptitude, and embarrassment we've had to go through as a fanbase watching our storied program be dragged through the mud, you cannot imagine the catharsis released in that stadium after such an incredible game. I've never seen such wanton joy from people just aimlessly running around hugging strangers. Not only was this the best game I have ever seen, it was the most important victory for my beloved Vols in decades. We are back.

That final catch by Bru McCoy as he is being blasted from behind and still managed to hold on to the ball was the entire ball game......if he drops that pass, the kick does not reach the goalposts. Tremendous clutch play.

Ducks fan here . Tennessee is the only SEC team I'll root for. When they came here a number of years ago, their fans were so damn respectful and great to be around. Great win by the Vols! This game and the Utah/USC game are easily the 2 best games I've seen this season. Amazing games by all teams.
I’m a Penn State fan/alum, but I consider the Vols my SEC team. Tennessee is one of my favorite vacation destinations, and I’d love to retire in the Smokey mountains. Beautiful land. Nice people. Truly passionate fans. The Vols weren’t even good the last time I was there and every other person still had a Vols jersey on in the middle of Summer no less. I’m happy for them

Now this is a game I actually like about 101 points combined 1000+ yards combined Multiple 10* point quarters by each team This feels like the Super Bowl (in College Football)
I am completely neutral on both of these teams, but I always come back to this video and consider it one of the greatest college football moments of my lifetime. It is a perfect example of what makes college football my favorite sport. The fans rushing the field followed by the UT band breaking into Rocky Top will always give me chills. You don’t get that in the NFL. You don’t get anything remotely close to that.

It was a great atmosphere and a classic shootout. Better than anyone could have predicted. If you love offense, this was your game. Tennessee had such hype leading into this game that I predicted that they would be crushed emotionally if the team lost. But they survived, and they're giddy in Knoxville right now. But they have a great big hurdle ahead down in Athens. And with their defense, I don't think that they can repeat this feat down there. But they have already had a great season, and should be in the New Year's Day Six.

I’m a huge UT fan and this game was an instant classic but in my opinion, the best game winning thriller I ever watched was AL vs Aub when Bama tried for a winning FG and it was short and an Auburn player caught it in the back of the end zone and ran it 105 yards for the game winning TD. I watched this and then the Utah/USC game back to back, it was probably the single best night of college football I've ever seen.

It was a great atmosphere and a classic shootout. Better than anyone could have predicted. If you love offense, this was your game. Tennessee had such hype leading into this game that I predicted that they would be crushed emotionally if the team lost. But they survived, and they're giddy in Knoxville right now. But they have a great big hurdle ahead down in Athens. And with their defense, I don't think that they can repeat this feat down there. But they have already had a great season, and should be in the New Year's Day Six.
Michigan man here remembering my father, he always told me Rocky top will always be home to him, cried a little bit afterwards remembering the times we had shared with moments like this. I know he is smiling up there now. GO BLUE & Rocky Top !

I’m a huge UT fan and this game was an instant classic but in my opinion, the best game winning thriller I ever watched was AL vs Aub when Bama tried for a winning FG and it was short and an Auburn player caught it in the back of the end zone and ran it 105 yards for the game winning TD. That was insane! Go Vols!

Been a Tennessee fan since the Sugar Vols of 85. Marched with the Pride for four years in the early 90s and saw some damn good games, but nothing like this. As emotional as this win was, I totally lost it when they reclaimed Dixieland Delight and played it over the PA.

As an Alabama fan who went to the game, it was such an AMAZING game and I give mad respect to both teams for playing so hard. Yes it was upsetting for us to lose, but I would be pretty hyped if I beat someone after 15 years, even with a kick as ugly as that LOL. Easily one of the most thrilling endings of any football game I've ever watched, and seeing it in person was definitely something else. Great play from both sides, and I applaud the Vols for their victory. Congratulations Tennessee.

I have said this before many times, and it still holds true: there is simply NOTHING in the realm of sports more exciting than Tennessee Volunteer football and it's fans.. it's the single greatest game experience, the best fans, facilities, tradition, and drive "on the Hill" in all of collegiate or pro sports.. nothing is even close
