From this comment, I did some research as I didn't know that in the SEC the school gets fined $50,000 when their fans rush the field. In investigating this I also discovered that in the National Football League, rushing the field usually results in a lifetime revocation of season tickets from the holder of them and also a lifetime trespassing notice banning the rusher from the team and/or stadium property... The more you know 😁

I'm a huge Michigan fan, saying that this is probably the best game I've ever seen. The way this game ended, the fireworks, the passion and the fans is a textbook definition of what college football is all about. I think it gave true college football fans chills

I remember tearing the goalposts down in 1982 after we beat them, but that was very different. After that win we were 3--2-1 and finished at 6-5-1. That win was nice, but this one, with both teams being unbeaten was WAY better, and way more significant.

Last time UT beat Bama, I was in the hospital in Knoxville at the time. Everyone knew I was the biggest fan and I had been there for 3 months at the time. I was 17 at the time. I had decorated my hospital room in orange and white. The nurses went together and got the team to sign a bunch of stuff and they got me an orange and white mini-Christmas tree. That stuff and their friendship meant the world to me. The Vols helped me through a rough time and continue to help me through the same illness. God Bless Rocky Top!

As an LSU fan, I wasn’t rooting for Tennessee last week, but I SURE was tonight! Always love it when the the underdog comes out on top against Bama. LSU in 2019, A&M in 2021, and now Tennessee in 2022! Great win Vols! Hope they can go all the way this year or at least give Hooker the Heisman. He deserves it!

I was at the game when Illinois beat Wisconsin on homecoming in 2019 and rushed the field and I remember noticing several of our stadium security moving to stand around the base of the goalposts. Now I understand why.
