He said no because he refused to listen to any music by a band named Alabama. Y'all, he's 57. People don't get how old and deep this rivalry can be to native Tennesseans. Cracked me up.
Same with us UGA fans, when Alabama beat us in the 2012 SEC championship my brother wouldn’t even step foot in Alabama for a few years when we’d go on vacation to Florida

I totally agree! I’ve been to well over 200 Tennessee games in my life. I was at Miracle In South Bend (91); Sugar Bowl (86); Florida & Arkansas (98). That said, October 15, 2022 now surpasses them all for me personally. That was THE GREATEST GAME I have ever seen personally.

In all honesty, the video doesn’t really do the sound justice. You just have to be present to really feel it. It’s hard to get the feel over video and TV. It’s the best and I will remember for the rest of my life what it felt like seeing TN bear Bama from Section Z11 in Neyland!

Just fyi not the first time this happened. The last time Peyton Manning was QB and the goalposts came down and went into the same spot in the river. It's not an embarrassment it was a reenactment of another moment of pure joy and I'm fairly certain the school knew it would happen. I figure the world is no worse off watching this many people come together and actually be happy.
